We stayed 4 nights at East Shore Lodging in August. Our room was on the second floor at the back of the hotel. It was very large with a separate sitting room, a mini fridge and decent AC. They also have books in the room that you can read while you are there, I love when places do that hit... more

This hotel was in a great location, right across the street from the lake. We had the Queen room that is generally for handicapped people (but we weren't, this was just all that was available). The room was a great size and the bathroom was huge (to accommodate wheelchairs, etc.) The owners have definitely done their research and do a... more

Very nice, reasonable little lodge. Clean, well decorated, spacious rooms. Owners very friendly and helpful. Decent continental breakfast. Scenic boat tour was right on site and lasted about an hour. Lake is directly across the road, sunsets are beautiful, bring some good wine and enjoy(there is a wine "supermarket" 5 minutes away). Free public park on the lake where you... more

we spent 2 nights in August, and to our surprise we had a very nicely decorated extra large room. The owners were very friendly, and treated us to a contintental breakfast. price was affordable, and the room was spotless. We will definately return, and tell our friends. Our thanks to the Geldermans . more

Booked on the strength of reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Clean large rooms, helpful staff and convenient for the lake and the local area. Looks far better on the inside than the outside - although that looks ok. Excellent value at $90. more

My husband and I decided on a Sunday to take a drive to Lake W and would find lodging when we get there. Our expectations were not high of what we would find, doing it on the spur of the moment. Bridget and Steve are wonderful. The room, $90, was huge! Clean! Nicely decorated! I would stay here again in... more

My husband and I had reservations up the road from East Shore. That motel was so unsafe we left after 10 mins. in the room. We had so many problems there and we were so disheartened that we were going to drive back to CT. But then we drove past East Shore. We were so tired we said lets just... more

My husband and I stay at the East Shore several times a year - whenever we drive East to visit relatives. We enjoy the quiet view, the friendly staff, and the homey rooms. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and unique. A nice break from the usual hotel room. We come home to ourselves here. more

2-24-2008 NEF I have been a very satisfied guest at East Shore Lodging for the last nine years. I spend approximately fifteen days each year while travelling on business in the area. Everything about this warm and friendly lodging experience is perfect. Created by the attitude of the multi-generational owners, I think of the experience as going to my home... more

My first visit to the Lake Wallenpaupack area and stayed at East Short Lodging as a result of recommendation from a local fishing guide's website. What a great recommendation. The room (Queen Suite) was ENORMOUS. Nicely decorated with lots of furniture, but not cluttered, huge private deck, directly across the street from the lake and a private beach. A few... more
