I tried several times to book a room by phone. I left my number each time but my calls were never returned. The email address does not work either. We really wanted to stay there becUse the previous reviews were promos sing. Too bad.

Was able to get a one night stay in season at this very charming Bed and Breakfast. My room got upgraded due to cancellation, it was warm and lovely, with great ammenities for a Bed and Breakfast. Our host Michelle was so very kind. She made delicious brownie bites for nighttime snack. Our breakfast choices were plentiful and delicious.I would... More

This bed and breakfast was a little off the Interstate 84 ... well worth the slight detour. The B&B is located in a lovely resort town. The home is Victorian and well decorated. The owners are delightful people. Michelle, the hostess, prepared an incredible pie for an after dinner dessert. It was made of 3 fruits and even though I... More

When we arrived at Lake Wallenpaupack on Labor Day Weekend, and surveyed our apparent options, we were disheartened. The Visitor Center referred us to Academy. When I called, the hostess offered us a tour of the house. Upon arrival, we immediately knew we would enjoy this lovingly restored Victorian Home. Michelle was welcoming and placed great emphasis on detail for... More

Wonderful experience. Michelle is friendly and warms you from first meeting. Beautiful classic home; yards are gorgeous. I concede that I do not know much about the B&B experience, but frankly I'm a hotel snob and not impressed with any of the hotels nor resorts in Wayne County having stayed at/or seen several of them these past few years. Academy... More

Hawley is a quaint town near the beaches and excitement of the Lake Wallenpaupack region. Academy Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully restored Victorian home with beautiful grounds. It's in a quiet area of town near the Riverwalk, and each room has been tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The hostess was gracious and very helpful with suggestions of... More

My boyfriend and I stayed over fourth of July weekend and thoroughly enjoyed what I think was our 5th visit to the Academy Street Bed and Breakfast. The peace and quiet is priceless and Michelle's breakfasts are amazing and prepared with great care with dietary considerations in mind. Cannot wait to return!!

Spent a few days in Hawley, PA at Academy Street B&B and was greeted with a gorgeous Victorian Style Circa 1863 house with a large front steps leading up to an equally large front porch. The entry door was large and heavy but was well balanced, a tribute to the craftsmanship of the era. Upon entering, you have the parlor... More
