I just stayed at the hotel this past weekend, and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. New flat screen TV's, pillows and bedding, as well as new carpet. Bathroom was nothing speical, but it was clean. Rooms were a very nice size. more

This hotel is in the middle of a renovation. Luckily, we got a room that was already done- I think. Nothing special, but it was clean. The rooms come with a hair dryer, nice soaps and shampoos, and a pod style coffee pot with Wolfgang Puck coffee. I was a little perturbed that the ice machine on our floor didn't... more

We just returned from 2 days at the Wingate Inn in Harrisburg. It's the perfect location to go to Hersheypark, about 10-15 minute drive. The front desk personnel were wonderfully professional and very quick to bring extra pillows to our room when we requested them. The room was clean, larger than a standard hotel room, and the beds comfortable. My... more

I usually stay at the Hilton downtown but the rates were too high and the courtyard was sold out so I tried this. Big mistake. The hotel was just hot and it was easily a 90 degree August day. That was just the lobby and the hall way. I got to my room and it was even hotter. I cranked... more

READ THIS REVIEW: My name is Gene. Im in my late 20's and planned a trip with my "girlfriend" (if that's what you want to call her), and her son. He is 3yrs old. We stayed 3 days & 2 nights @ this hotel. The room was very inexpensive so I was a little worried to see the quality of... more

I reserved the hotel meeting room for a 5 day training course. We had about a dozen people attend, some of whom stayed at the hotel. The consensus among the attendees who stayed there was that it was a substandard hotel. One complaint was that the sleeping rooms were not clean. The staff was at first lax in supplying water... more

I called at 245pm to see if i could check in early. The desk clerk said they would not have anything ready for an hour. I arrived at 345 and asked again if anything was ready yet, but it was not, I would have to wait until 4pm. I find it hard to believe that no rooms were ready ahead... more

The title is a quote from the front desk clerk at check in! The first room he gave us the air conditioner did not operate - heat/cool/fan. So we asked for a change. The second room had no bed covers, bedside table, and other pieces of furniture. The light switch beside the bed was missing its cover. The bedside lights... more

We also had issues with towels. Had 3 people in our room and when they cleaned the bathroom after the 1st night, they took two dirty towels and replaced it with one! When I asked the cleaning staff for two more towels, they told me that they didn't have any more! We were only some of a handful of guests... more

I will start out that we checked in about 9pm yet had to wait 15 minutes to see if our room was ready. I don't get it, wasn't check in at 4pm? I stayed there with my husband and son yet the hotel could grasp the concept of 3 people/3 towels. I had to call each morning for a 3rd... more
