The Shining Dawn B&B is in a lovingly restored brick and brownstone mansion. Our room was immaculately clean and wonderful architectural details abound throughout the house. Bruce and Helen are warm and welcoming people who made us feel right at home. more

We stayed at Shining Dawn for a couple of days. We had a wonderful, and relaxing time in this beautiful turn of the century home in the midst of an historic neighborhood. Our hosts, Helen and Bruce, made a fantastic breakfast and were gracious and welcoming. Their peaceful calm demeanor, and comfortable conversation made us feel more than welcome guests.... more

Found this beautiful B & B because of it's proximity to Gettysburg..but now we find ourselves returning to explore Hanover and enjoy the Inn itself. The home is absolutely beautiful..a tranquil retreat to regroup and refresh oneself..or as a couple. Helen and Bruce are delightful people who truly enjoy their new found career as innkeepers. Each of my stays at the Shining Dawn Inn have been unique and truly enjoyable! This house has such character and beauty - truly a work of art. There is a lovely back garden, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Helen will greet you at the door with a kind smile and brief... more
