We only spent one night at this lovely B&B since it was the first time we were traveling with our pet, but we had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the pet-friendly cottages and found a basket with a blanket, bowl, and towel ready and waiting for our pup. What a nice touch that demonstrated caring attention to... more

This was one of the nicest B and B's we've stayed at. There is plenty of staff and they totally make you feel like you're the only guest there. The breakfasts are amazing gourmet treats and if you have allergies, they'll make something special. We had a 5 year old with us and they managed his picky eating habits too.... more

Our stay at Sweetwater Farm was too brief. We found a perfectly peaceful corner of the world. We could have sat on our porch and looked over at the horses grazing in the inn's pasture all day. It was simply a warm and welcoming, unpretentious and relaxing experience all around. Including breakfast on the porch. Just a breath of fresh... more

My girlfriend and I stayed for two days in late April in the Hemphill cottage and had a wonderful experience. The bed was extremely comfortable, the marble bathroom was very elegant, and there was a great deal of charm in general. The chocolate covered strawberries in the romance package were outrageously good, and Farrell and Sean were excellent hosts. We... more

sweetwater Farm was a great get away for our anniversary. It is a beautful estate even in the winter. I cannot wait to go back in the summer or fall to see more of the beauty of sweetwater. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful. it was very comfortable! I cannot stop talking about it to my... more

Just returned from a wedding-anniversary-mini-vacation at Sweetwater, and I'm already missing the place. I find it amazing just how rural the property seemed, and it was literally minutes from some pretty serious suburban sprawl. Such is the way in that part of the world, though, where you can get away from it all, but still be close enough to the... more

If you are looking for a lovely Pennsylvania stone historic inn, with charm and grand hospitality in a lovely quiet rural setting, we recommend the Sweetwater Farm Inn. The staff was welcoming and friendly, without being invasive. Our room was comfortable and clean. In fact, my husband declared the bed the most comfortable he has ever slept in. After meeting... more

Sweetwater is a true gem. Both the outside and the inside of the property are clean and well-maintained. Our room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly, epecially JOAN. She cooked us an amazing breakfast both days. Brogan, a dog owned by the innkeepers, was a fantastic guide on the trails through the 50 acres... more

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the William Penn Room. The room was nice and clean, very clean. I even checked the lamp shades, canopy, .......all free of dust. The room looked exactly like the pic on their web site. There was only one chair in the room, wished there were two. The bed was comfortable, and... more

Oh, the bed! Comfortable, solid, felt wonderfully clean and crisp. We stayed only one night for a portion of our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised. Not only was the B&B situated in a lovely area, but the grounds were perfectly kept. The staff was friendly without being overbearing- although they seemed like they would chat if we had wanted to.... more
