Stayed for 2 nights and 2 rounds of golf. Package included 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners and golf. Good value, staff exceptionally welcoming. Facilities good, a little maintenance to carpet in common areas is needed. Rooms were large and comfortable. Meals good, not a large selection for dinner with the package. I would return again.

Penn National provides an ideal "stay and play" package for golfers wanting the opportunity to play two different courses at one venue. The rooms are clean, but dated. Each building can house up to 16 golfers, which makes for a great group trip, if that is what you are looking for. The restaurant works well, the breakfast buffet is sufficient.... More

Have spent at least the last 16 years with the Bean group in September. Cannot say anything but good things about the entire staff. Food, good and varied. Quality of the two courses excellent. In addition, beautiful scenery. Do it.

No, it's not the classiest of accommodations, but it's clean and comfortable and each floor has a common area to play post-round cards, board games or just socialize. As others mentioned, this is a BYOB place, which works in their favor. They'll uncork your own wine for dinner and ice down beer for the round if you wish. I love... More

Played the Founder Course and really thought it had a great layout. There is no alcohol sold on site as it is a dry town. But you are welcome to bring your own beer and they will supply you with coolers and ice. There is also another course on site (iron forge) Did not play but will be back..

Golf packages represent an excellent value. The golf courses are very good, 4 star. The acomodations are more than adequate, but certainly not plush. A high end Holiday Inn in terms of acomodations. The only negative is the food, which is adequate, but not an attraction at all. Our group of 8 to 12 golfers have stayed at many resorts... More

How fitting that I am one of the first to review Penn National Golf Club here on Trip Advisor. Let me preface this by saying that my review may be slightly biased due to the fact I schedule my entire summer around my annual trip to Penn National. I have stayed and played at Penn National for the past 9... More
