I've been staying at this hotel 2-4 times a year for the last 20+ years. It IS improving. New, more comfortable beds, new comforters, new bedspreads, new carpet, all new furnature with a better room layout, new paint/wall paper, 4 pillows per bed, new top on sink, new tub surround, new shower curtains that now project outward for more room.... more

This hotel is the former Best Western soon to be Comfort Inn and Suites, they advertise that the place has been renovated, but it is still the same old place, with the exception of some new tiles in the lobby and stairways. This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. The staff is unpleasant and nasty. The rooms are filthy. The Inn at Presque Isle located at the entrance to Presque Isle has been a family favorite for many years.
