The rooms are extremely dated with furniture and carpet from the 80's. It was as clean as you can get a old hotel. There were bugs in the room, including flies in the bathroom. Also, there was a jacuzzi just a foot from the bed with surrounding mirrors. I felt that I was on the set of a 70's porn... more

The staff could not do enough to make our stay a pleasent one. They went out of their way to provide the best service possible. Clean rooms with microwave and mini fridge. Outstanding breakfast in the morning. Computer and printer access in the lobby for guests. more

Had a wonderful weekend with my husband. There are several mid range chain hotels along this highway, in a nice area with lots of dining, shopping and sightseeing. When you pull up, the blue/turquoise curtains seem a little "weird", but the lobby and rooms are nice. Smallish but warm pool, exercise room my husband liked. Room had microwave, fridge, comfy... more

Visiting family in the area and stayed at the Fairfield Inn. I always try and stay with the Marriott brand. This hotel lives up to the name. Very pleasant staff from the minute I arrived to the minute I left. The room was clean and the beds are to die for. I only wish my own bed were that comfortable.... more

I have stayed at this hotel twice in five years. The first time was for a visit to Lancaster, which is 35 minutes away. The second time, I stayed for a visit to Philadelphia and Longwood Gardens, about the same distance from each other and Lancaster. The area around Exton is a mixture of pastoral quaintness and suburban sprawl. You... more

The hotel staff is exceptional. They were friendly and on the ball in responding to my special requests. Our family will certainly be staying there again. Loved the indoor pool! more

Fifteen minutes after going to bed--I felt a bug on my forehead. I turned the light on and had 5 bedbugs (which looked like ticks) on my pillow. I was going to move to the other bed (this is 12:30 am) It had hundreds of little red bugs squirmy around. I moved to another room but didn't sleep all night.... more

We also used this hotel as a resting point on our way to the Jersey Shore. Rooms are clean and quiet. The do-it-yourself breakfast in the lobby is perfect for getting quickly back on the road. The indoor pool is laughably small but kudos to them for even including one on the property. We would stay here again. more

We spent two evenings here with our two young kids. Pluses: decent location, good breakfast, good sound-proofing in the rooms, oversize mini-fridge. Minuses: rooms are pretty small. To be expected: no room service, valet, or bell men, no minibar. Complaint: the hotel was unable to honor our prior request for connecting rooms, which was quite disappointing. Still, they did let... more
