The younger lady who set up breakfast with black hair is spectacular and a real asset. The room we were in was 103. Do not stay here at all. The room looks out over a porch and a dumpster to the left. The awesome DK restaurant backs up to it so there is noise from there as well. This room... More

We enjoy historic properties so booked a room here for a one-night stay. Unfortunately, we felt that it lacked charm so would be unlikely to stay here again. Just not what we expected. The water pressure was good, something that a long-hair always appreciates as it means that a shower doesn't have to go on and on to get hair... More

If you are in exton, you should visit this place. They serve good food and nice wine. The place has a charm of its own. It needs some touch up, but its worth the trip. The wine selection is good and you get a nice recommendation in case you do not know what to order. Went here for dinner with... More

This old Inn would benefit from a little TLC. it has a lot of potential. We stayed here for a lacrosse tournament for our 3 daughters and chose it because of its proximity to the fields. We were great guests and our girls are very well behaved. We got 2 rooms. We complained about nothing. Although there were a couple... More

We had a reservation for 2. I have visited this restaurant before and enjoyed it, so I wanted to share it with my wife. We arrived on time. The first clue that the evening was going to be disappointing was the difficulty in entering the parking area. There were so many cars parked, and coming and going, I couldn't believe... More

So, we have never stayed at a b& b. We usually stay at a luxury hotel. I love history and all things old so naturally I have been wanting to stay at a b&b. Upon arrival we were greeted with less than exciting enthusiasm. Ok that's fine. We get to our room which is ok. Nothing notable about the decor.... More

We stayed here at the end of June. The inn was a good value for the price and the area. Overall, was clean, although the bathroom fixtures need updating. the . Continental breakfast was just okay. Unfortunately, the day we were there it was raining and this inn does not have a very big common area to lounge in. I... More

I stayed at the Inn last month for a night and over all my experience was quite nice. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay, this is your place. The rooms are a bit run-down however but they are very CLEAN so that is a plus. In my opinion a little money would go a long... More

As we are locals so we do not stay in the B&B section, however share many special occasions in the restaurant. I have worked for a large company that owns three award-winning hotels and 2 fine-dining restaurants in the Brandywine Valley for more than 20 years, and so am keenly aware of all that goes into a fine-dining restaurant and... Our family enjoyed the food and ambience at a relaxing Sunday afternoon dinner. Appetizers and salads were very good, perfectly complemented by fresh popovers. The side dishes were outstanding - garlic potatos, sauteed vegetables, roasted brussel sprouts were all top-notch. The main courses were very good, though my daughter's New York strip steak was somewhat dry. Prices were moderately high;... More
