This is a very simple hotel with small rooms and basic bathrooms. I was on business and stayed by myself. I can't imagine anyone coming here just for the hotel - it's somewhere to rest your head for the night and then move on. Breakfast is a buffet affair in an area just off the main lobby; no other meals... more

I've been on a business trip in the area and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. On a positive side - it's clean, stuff is helpful, breakfast is good although standard for this type of hotels, wireless internet is free and usually quite good. Negative - noisy heater/air conditioning. The building is heated enough - no need to use... more

This past Thanksgiving my parents were visiting from Georgia and stayed at the Hampton Inn Exton for 6 nights. I regularily stay at Hamptons (10+ times a year) and this particular property is in bad need of a redo as it's dirty and outdated. The rooms are tiny and the heating/AC system is extremely outdated and noisy. Furniture looked to... more

This was an excellent stay!!! I was treated to a Manager's Dinner (they have them every Wed. night). The staff went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant one. The rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfortable. The best part was meeting one of the local congressmen while he was having a meeting there. more

Soundproofing at this establishment is virtually nonexistent. As I write, it is 11:40 pm and I'm being kept awake by the sound of vigorous snoring coming from the next room. The walls are paper thin. Heating/cooling is via a somewhat noisy unit under the window. This is an older Hampton Inn with nondescript decor in need of updates. Service is... more

This was the second time that we stayed at this hotel, the first time being 2 years ago. We were in town for a family function nearby and chose this hotel because we liked it the previous time we were there. However, the hotel is not the same as it used to be. Our room looked worn down and needed... more

Stayed one night while traveling cross-country. Chose property as they accepted pets without additional fees. Very nicely maintained and has recently converted over to the Cloud 9 beds (plush pillows, down comforter/duvet, etc...ala the Heavenly Bed at westin but not as plush). Very confortable. Room was super clean and well appointed with large work desk, free wireless internet, lap tray... more

Hotel had very comfortable beds, was clean, quiet. Service was pleasant. Nice breakfast buffet assortment. Only problem was in directions from one of the online mapping sites--had to call hotel after circling near it a few times. more

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Downingtown-Exton for just over a week, and found it to be good value for money. It's not luxurious, but you can't expect it to be for the price. However, the room and bathroom were clean and in good condition. The free high-speed wireless internet access available in rooms was a definite plus. The... more

It seems like an older Hampton, But a fantastic value just the same. The breakfast was better than I expected, but this hotel really breaks the mold with it's employees. I was in need of help several times during my visit, and always they went above and beyond in order to be helpful. During my stay i was treated to... more
