My family and I decided to go to Splash Lagoon for a summer getaway for 2 nights, so we booked the Econo Lodge. We just wanted a clean safe place to sleep close to the water park. The room was warm air not working well, carpets were dirty, bathroom shower had black mold, beds felt like rocks. Over looking these... more

Just returned from a weekend at tthe Econolodge in Erie, Pa. It was one disappointment after the other. I booked this hotel after extensive research on line and it had all the perks I was looking for. Myself and my 15 year old son and his friend arrived around 7:30 pm. We were given room 333. At first it seemed... more

We stayed at the Econo Lodge for two nights. The accomodations were just okay, but the price couldn't be beat ($70.00 as compared up to $150 at other chains). The room was a little small, but did have a refrigerator and microwave which was nice. The decor was old (needs updating) and the furniture scuffed up (needs replaced). Although it... more

This is a budget hotel, and as budget hotels go, this is one of the best values you'll find. This hotel has a number of amenities that you would rarely find at a budget hotel - - - - - tropical indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room among them. Although the hotel decor may be a little dated,... more

I've been staying in Erie every Monday thru Friday for several weeks for business and decided to try the Econo Lodge to save some money. I saved money, but it wasn't worth the downgrade in quality from the Fairfield. The Econo Lodge is sufficiently clean, but the carpets look like they haven't been scrubbed in a few years. The hotel... more

Splash Lagoon is just accross the street and I saw a shuttle picking people up from the hotel. We weren't there for that reason, but judging from most of the guests, I'd say that's why a lot of people stay here. We were visiting Gannon Univ. and got a university discount on the room, making the rate very reasonable. The... more

We spent a night here while traveling. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool is large and the pool/hot tub area very pleasant. A great breakfast was included with waffles, pastries, fruit, etc. The room for breakfast was nice and roomy, too, not like some hotels that have room for only 8-10 people at a time. The staff at... more

Everything was clean and in good working order. Indoor pool is very nice for the kids. Just around the corner from the Family First Sports Complex which we visited for a soccer tournament. We would stay here again. more

The Econo Lodge in Erie, PA is a great value for the money. It's a budget hotel, with some pretty nice amenities. My sister and I spent the night in a double room with comfortable beds, a mini refrigerator, microwave, and TV for $80. The bathroom only has a shower, but water pressure is great. My parents were in a... more

If you are looking for a great place to crash after a hard day of shopping....look no further!! This is a great hotel. I found it to be very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were very helpful when asked about the local area about things to do, what to see, and where to go, and how to get... more
