Stayed here because of close proximity to Saturday seminar. Seemed quaint (if old furniture and carpets can be called quaint) and clean. Very old. Extremely noisy from 11 til about 1140PM due to multiple teens next door talking loudly and laughing next door. Their TV was cranked way up too, with no one to call cuz office closed at 11.... more

I travel frequently and I always try to find the locally owned businesses because typically the owners are hands on and things are better because of it, and I like to support local businesses. This place fits that bill, and it is a great mom and pop motel. They have wireless internet and a small summertime outside pool. I have... more

We stayed at The Glass House Inn over Thanksgiving. The Glass House Inn is a pretty decent place to stay. This property is a Mom and Pop type motel with one floor and exterior doors. Parking is just outside your door. The kind of place you used to see a lot of before chain establishments started taking over. The property... more

We needed to book a room for 1 night on our way from Indiana to Cape Cod. Erie was a good day's drive for us, so I reviewed the hotels in Erie on TripAdvisor. We like small establishments and were delighted with the Glass House. The older motel had lovely flowers and landscaping. The room was clean and smelled clean.... more

We stayed from July 21 to 25. Room 28 *Coffee maker in room great , but it would have been nice to have the coffee and cups replaced each day! *Also soap and shampoo seemed to be on a "hit & miss" basis! *And room itself was not cleaned well. *When going to the continental breakfast, two days in a... more

The best hotel I ever stayed at. Relaxing, by the side of the road, gives you a feel of the good ole days. Great pool. 70s style vending machine, basketball hoop. Great breakfast. Great relaxing stay. more

When I arrived at the Glass House Inn in my two close friends, we were pleased to see a quaint and beautifully kept establishment. Upon check in we were welcomed by a friendly and helpful staff, who helped us figure out our plans, everything from what to see while in Erie to their personal dining recommendations. Our room was wonderful.... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Glass House Inn for 2 nights and paid $73 per night for a room which I think is pretty darn good. We had no problem with the room other than a stale odor when the windows were closed. The room was clean and we had towels; they were small but they were there... more

Family stayed at Glass House Inn Oct 19th/20th. Lets see what we didn't get for the $100.00 daily charge. Checked in, room didn't have soaps/shampoos and only 1 towel for 3 adult people. Was told it had 3 beds, it had 2 and a cheap flimsy roll-away. Returned at 3:00pm on second day after being gone from 6:00am Saturday morning... more

I stayed here based on some other reviews saying how wonderful it was. It is terrible!! Old and dilapidated. It is filthy! Very, very dusty. The bottom of the brand new slippers I brought were dark brown after 2 days. I brought the owner down and showed her the dirt and she said it would be taken care of. It... more
