Really handsome well-kept historic home with lovely hosts. Amazingly comfortable king-sized bed. Their keypad entry system made arriving late easy and worry free. We changed dates and Chris was accommodating and helpful. Patti was a great host. We had great breakfast conversation but we felt no pressure or obligation to be social.

Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this lovely and immaculately clean Inn. Rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a beautiful and roomy covered front porch to enjoy your morning coffee on. The hosts were extremely gracious and made us feel like visiting friends! Highly recommend and will return if in the area again!

The William Sands House was a wonderful surprise. Very well maintained historic mansion on Millionaire's row in Erie. Downtown Erie was a quick walk away and a 10 minute drive to Presque Isle. The room was very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was big, bright and clean with plenty of hot water. The room had plenty... More

This lovely gracious old mansion is well kept and on a quiet street, but very close to Gannon University and the Bayfront. The rooms are updated with good bathrooms and very clean. Owners were very friendly and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We enjoyed wine and our breakfast on the porch. Off street parking. We... More

Very lovely stay for our weekend in Erie in this well-kept historic mansion! Great location to stroll downtown in a beautiful tree-lined neighborhood. Our spacious room and King bed were very comfortable and so quiet, even with "Roar on the Shore" going on.....slept like babies! Breakfast is simple but we just brought a few of our favorite things from home... More

The William Sands house is really a gem when it comes to bed and breakfasts. My husband and I came here for our 3rd anniversary and absolutely loved it. We were told there were other guests there while we stayed, but we never heard them at all! The rooms are very private, quiet, clean, and serene. The William Sands house... More

We were passing through Erie and stayed at the William Sands House. The neighborhood is very close to many places to eat down town and is very quiet. The beds are comfy and the light breakfast was perfect. I would definitely stay here again when in Erie.

We needed a place close to Gannon University so we could park the car for the weekend and walk around town. We got so much more than that!
