Stayed at the Dutch Garden Motel (lighted sign in front says Scottish Inn) in October 2006. Booked non-smoking room with king bed (assigned to Rm 7). Room was large with new bedspread, curtains and carpet. Bed was comfortable, other furniture in room was a little worn in some places. Bathroom has been renovated or is undergoing renovations. The new counter for the sink does not completely cover the position of the old sink where it was attached to the wall. The wall was marked and it hasn't been patched/painted. Bathroom floor and shower surround were in good condition. Mini-blinds on bathroom window were quite dusty. Individual thermostat in room was great. Motel has two storeys. The resident(s) above us were moving about in the middle of the night and they could be heard from our room. Good location with meal options (fast food primarily) and other amenities nearby. Motel windows look toward the foundation of a building that has been torn down. The price of the room... more
