My husband I got a groupon for this inn and stayed s few months ago. We very much enjoyed our stay!! The room was great, cozy and beautiful! The breakfast was fantastic, and we loved that there was a mini fridge that came in handy the first night to put our dinner leftovers in and it was stocked with cold... More

Not far off the 'main track' , this bed and breakfast is very tranquil and peaceful. We were greeted by their Amish neighbour on our arrival ( we never did meet the hosts/owners) , who was lovely - explained about accommodation, breakfast etc ..and then we were left on our own ..with the 2 cats.A nice evening walk around the... The bed and breakfast in the northern part of Lancaster County area was situated in between cornfields and farms. Maybe not for everyone due to the rural nature of the home, but perfect for us who enjoy being off the beaten track. Summertime scenery was 10 foot high corn, green fields, and brightly colored flowers outside our window. The accommodations... More

A wonderful , quiet peaceful stay at a bed and breakfast in Amish country... We arrived late at night and the skies were dark and full of stars... The next day we ventured out and discovered four unique covered bridges... The place where we had lunch was delicious... Oregon Dairy Restaurant, only five min. from our place. Our accommodations were... More

Their logo is "Tranquility begins here" and it is certainly quiet. It's located off the beaten track and we often saw the local Mennonite riding by on their horses or in the buggies. The room was large but laid out a bit strange. The TV (which did not get TV- only Apple Netflicx streaming movies and pre-recorded older shows) was... More

My friend and I couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the Hertzog. The Amish woman who greeted us and showed us our room was friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and the food that was provided...excellent! Highly recommended!!!

Located in Amish countryside, locale is very low-key. Friendly, family-run. Offers a nicely, appointed suite adjacent to owner's home. Breakfast is provided via local-made items stored in suite's refrigerator for heating. Very tasty. Ideal for couple who would like countryside setting and be nearby Amish destinations/attractions.

The location of this home in the middle of Amish farmland is umcomparable, a great retreat to just get away from it all. The host is very friendly and so is Rusty the dog. The room is very spacious and has all the amenities one can look for in a hotel, with a Keurig coffee brewer and a (too small)... More
