The title says it best. Come here only if you are an avid boater or fisherman and want to be directly on Lake Raystown. The location was great but everything else was so-so. For a pretty hefty price for one of the cottages that they refer to as "villas" you get a minimally furnished two bedroom, one bath place to... More

We rented one of the lakeside villas and was very happy with the location and how spacious it was when we arrived. Check in was quick and smooth, and the gentleman at the counter was helpful and knowledgable. The few complaints I have are; the villa needs some TLC, the furniture was uncomfortable along with the bed, they could upgrade... More

WOW; a must stay at the Villla's. The owners went above and beyond to accommadate any request we had! Though we did not get the water front villa we had a blast in Villa 17 as we had a nice backyard as well as the view from the porch of the lake! PERFECT!!! The pontoon rental was a blast as... More

Arrived Friday to our nonsmoking villa and was filled with smoke, which I am very allergic to. Went to front desk and they just gave me a candle to burn. I couldn't even sleep there that night! We had to go the next day and buy our own air purifier, fresheners, and fans to blow out the windows. Then found... More

We camped here in a travel trailer in July 2014. Make no mistake, this is NOT a resort. We were very disappointed in the campground. The sites are close together and there is little privacy. Our site was listed as "Lakeside." Technically, it was, but it was up a cliff. If we looked really hard, we could just see the... More

There may be a lodge at Lake Raystown Resort, but the place is primarily a campground. We stayed in the Pine cabins in late July and had a great experience. It's big, clean, family-friendly, and located on two peninsulas on the southern side of the lake. From our cabin you could see the lake, and at night everyone at he... More

we had several families stay here in all different spots, 1 camper, 2 cottages & we stayed in the lodge. The lodge rooms were average, we had a very comfy bed & the price wasn't bad either; I believe it was under $400 for 3 nights. the little beach was nice, the water park was small, I wouldn't pay more... We have camped at Raystown Resort but this time we decided to go down for two nights and just stay at the lodge. Upon arrival I walked into the office and there was no one there. I waited a few moments and a young girl arrived giving me a blank look. I said I was checking in and she didn't... More

We had our daughter's wedding at Wedding Point and the reception at the conference center. We had rooms at the Lodge and we ate at the cafe. The wedding was gorgeous and the staff that helped plan and carry it off did a great job. We had a very nice suite for our room. I was surprised that there were... More

The Lake Raystown Resort and Conference Center was a great place to hold our retreat. The staff there is wonderful to work with and the conference center worked perfectly for many of our groups for break-out sessions. The food is always excellent and you are always treated special. The rooms were also very nice, quiet and clean. Thank you Dan,... More
