we had several families stay here in all different spots, 1 camper, 2 cottages & we stayed in the lodge. The lodge rooms were average, we had a very comfy bed & the price wasn't bad either; I believe it was under $400 for 3 nights. the little beach was nice, the water park was small, I wouldn't pay more... We have camped at Raystown Resort but this time we decided to go down for two nights and just stay at the lodge. Upon arrival I walked into the office and there was no one there. I waited a few moments and a young girl arrived giving me a blank look. I said I was checking in and she didn't... More

We had our daughter's wedding at Wedding Point and the reception at the conference center. We had rooms at the Lodge and we ate at the cafe. The wedding was gorgeous and the staff that helped plan and carry it off did a great job. We had a very nice suite for our room. I was surprised that there were... More

The Lake Raystown Resort and Conference Center was a great place to hold our retreat. The staff there is wonderful to work with and the conference center worked perfectly for many of our groups for break-out sessions. The food is always excellent and you are always treated special. The rooms were also very nice, quiet and clean. Thank you Dan,... More

We've just returned from our 6th annual weekend at Raystown, and we do love it. We choose the Maple cabins, as they are perched on a cliff, and while they have a lovely (if filtered by trees) view, they are away from the noise and activity of the lake-front campgrounds and cabins, which always seem to have groups of younger... Just got bak from a stay at the "pine" cabins. They are priced on par with 4 and 5 star hotels $150 per night after tax. They offer no towels, linens, or toiletries. The "beds" are plastic covered pieces of cheap foam that literally are less than 3" thick. After about 30 seconds on the bed u are literally sleeping... More

Just got back from a great weekend at the lake with my family. This is our 6th or 7th year at this location. It is the perfect location for our family in Pittsburgh and Philly to meet. The properly is well maintained. The lake is large and perfect for boating. There is a water park that our kids always like... More

I reviewed this last year so we gave it another shot. Stayed in the exact same location as summer 2012, but in the same camping area (Birch) as 2012 and 2013. We also drove around the army corp campground at 7 points and this changes our perspective. First off, the price increases. The rates have gone up 20-30% but nothing... More

We stayed in one of their cabins facing the lake. Overall, we enjoyed our stay - lots of fun activities both on and off water, and a cabin was reasonably nice and equipped. But we got bad neighbors...it seems like that a bunch of young (and some older) people rent and shared a cabin next to ours. At the first... More

We camped here with another family. It's nice there are so many things for the kids. Swim area with sandy beach for swimming in lake, water slides, pool, boat team talks, fishing, playgrounds, bike riding. The boys were entertained both days which made the patents very happy!
