My family and I eagerly awaited our Raystown Lake vacation. The website was beautiful and made the accomodations look enticing. When we checked in at the welcome center, the staff was friendly and professional, and the building was pretty and welcoming. I thought the tone had been set for the Oak Park Cottage we were about to stay in. I... More

My family has been going to Lake Raystown resort for camping for over 25 years. We started out in tents,Pop ups to RVs, and majority of the families block cabins every year first weekend in August. Now the next generation is getting married and staying in tents. The place is clean and friendly that provides parking passes, garbage bag and... More

Where to start--stayed here for 4 nights for a meeting. It is shocking how pretty the conference center is compared to the accommodations. Upon entering our room in the lodge, it was very musty and humid. Considering the outside temp was in the 80s, it would make sense for them to leave some air conditioning on in the room. There... We stayed for 2 nights on Fathers Day weekend. We stayed in Lodge 2 that has been renovated. Other family members stayed in Lodge 3 that has not been renovated and they were jealous when they saw our room. The A/C unit was cold but noisy. The king bed was very comfortable. The Kurieg was a nice touch. Always ask... More

The Yurt was a new camping/glamping experience for us. The inside experience of the Yurt is way beyond other tent camping weekends. There is something quite magical about this big diameter circle "tent" with the wall and ceiling beams that rise to a glass dome. We were lucky, (and am not kidding) it rained with thunder and lightning both nights... More

I just wrote a review of the lodge but mistakenly added it to reviews of the lake, not the resort. We had a very nice stay at the lodge and enjoyed two lunches at the Marina Cafe. See Lake Raystown reviews if interested in more information.

My husband and I were recently married (May 30, 2015) at Lake Raystown Resort & Conference Center. Not only was the location beautiful, but the staff at the conference center were absolutely wonderful (special thanks to Dan and Jenn). The whole wedding planning process was so easy and the day of couldn't have gone better. All of the staff were... More

My husband and I had booked one of the park mobile home type facilities. They are near the camping facilities. Because of the egress into this place, we could not stay there. We are elderly and the narrow stairs going down to the area were just not suitable for us. Also, there was no privace since the blinds did not... More

We had 2 Oak Cabins, the one was very nice, clean, comfortable etc. The other smelled of terrible sulfer when running the water. And the more water you ran the worst it got. We were in the area for a wedding hoping it would air out for the second night of stay-it didn't, Not to mention we smelled of the... More

We enjoyed our recent Memorial Day weekend stay but this is a campground, not a resort. Our beachfront bungalow was great and had plenty of space for our family of six. I stepped on a protruding nail on the deck steps but called and maintenance came pretty quickly to fix it. They did leave another sticking out but I steered... More
