Happened on this place by chance when we pulled off the road to get some food. It was at the top of the hill from a truck stop diner, with a sign "no tractor trailers". A simple independent-owned motel, all on one level, with 2 wings from the central lobby. Nice landscaping, both in front of rooms and on the expansive lawn/fields across the parking lot.
The rate was $39.99 for 2 beds. There's a $5 pet fee.

Place was spacious and clean. The rugs do need replacing but we kept our shoes on. For the price, I wasn't bothered. It's not like there were bugs! And the room smelled clean, and not like air freshener perfumes.
There was a large table with a couple of chairs and overhead light, where we could use free internet - it was a low signal where we were, but fast.
Also a rocking chair with nice solid wood footstool.
Coffee was in the lobby.

The owner (there at the front desk too, and he's a nice guy) said he just bought the place in... more
