We stayed 2 nights in December. The interior of this B&B is spectacular. Make sure you get the mansion to boarding house to mansion story (...and it was a jail and a post office as well). The stained glass, trim details and furnishings are impressive. The renovations are second only to Bill and Lori's hospitality. They are a wonderful couple... More

My husband and I have stayed at many different Bed and breakfasts in many different locales throughout the years. Sometimes the decor is the same-old, historical and we love that. What stands out to me anymore is the cleanliness, hospitality and the owners. Bill & Lori added charm to their B & B. Before we even arrived Bill called my... More

Well what a lovely home filled with lots of stuff to explore! We could have spent a week going from room to room exploring all the amazing things. A lovely home cooked breakfast was served. The room was comfortable and charming but needed a few minor things fixed, the toilet handle had to be jiggled otherwise the cistern kept running... More

My wife and recently reserved the entire Emig Mansion for our family and special guests attending our son's wedding in nearby York, PA. Bill and Laurie Fitzell were extremely attentive and gracious hosts in their carefully restored and antique-filled manor. It is particularly pleasant to sit and reminisce on b&b's large, covered veranda. Breakfasts are hearty, delicious and keep you... More

My husband and I visited for a romantic weekend. The room was wonderful and clean. Lori and Bill have done a wonderful job of decorating the mansion in period pieces and are always happy to share the local history. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants a nice stay.
