When I walked into the parlor I was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Fred. He was very courtous and kind. My husband paid him for the room and he took us to the Family room. I was very impressed. It was clean with fresh clean towels and the beds had clean sheets on them. My family and... More

We enjoyed our stay in the house adjacent to the inn. The 3 teen age boys stayed in the cowboy room and I was in the pirate room. My room was spacious and had an amazing Jacuzzi and a small refrigerator.. The boys' room was adequate with a bunk bed and a queen sized bed, a full refrigerator and a... More

From the moment we made our reservations over the phone through the time we arrived and got to play with their 3 adorable dogs to having a breakfast fit for royalty in the morning, our experience with Fred and Liz at the Plum Pudding Inn. It truly did feel like we were staying with family. Great location close to Knoebel's.... More

My wife and I arrived a day before our daughter and 3 young children arrived. We went to the bed and breakfast in town to pay the balance and pick up the key to the duplex. We followed Fred, the owner. We could not believe the run down condition of the home. We enterned from the back into the kitchen.... More

Liz and Fred are friendly enough but the place is old, rundown and not clean. When we arrived after a three hour car trip and lots of traffic we could not wait to get to our room and freshen up and get ready to go to Knoebels with my two grandchildren, 11 year old girl and 2 1/2 year old grandson... My family and I were traveling to Knobel's(which was BEAUTIFUL) for the first time to celebrate our 2 year old's birthday. I had contacted Liz & Fred from the Plum Pudding Inn they informed me they also own a large two bedroom cottage which was available. We were thrilled and booked it. We were stuck in traffic forever..and didn't get... More

We checked in Aug. 9 & checked out Aug. 11. The hosts Liz & Fred are very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Not only was it delicious but you will NOT leave the table hungry!!! In my opinion I would give them my highest rating! More

Liz and Fred are very nice people that helped us out in a pinch on a last minute vacation to Knobels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA from August 6th-8th, 2010. When they did not have room in the Inn they asked if we would be interested in a duplex. It held my friend and 6 teen and pre-teen girls and... More

What a creepy place. From the minute you walk into the parlor. I stayed at "The cottage" a mile and a half from the Bed and Breakfast. A duplex with Odd Folks living next door. I don't know what they were doing all night, and I don't want to know! My kids were "Creeped Out"! The Dish TV didn't work.... More

I believe a few years back this was probably a really nice place to stay. Liz and Fred are very nice people, very friendly. Liz has been ill and this may have affected the way the B & B is being run. The bathroom in our room was so small, that when you were using the tiolet you couldn't shut... More
