Ann is a wonderful host, a great cook. Although we had our own tour guide, my son, she had good information on local farmers' markets and shops. It was easy for my son and his wife to join us for breakfast one morning. Great place to come home to each night.

Our choice was a random one and we have nothing but praise for the reception and warmth of the hostess, Anne, and the room we stayed in. Not only were the homemade delicacies great but Anne also arranged a tour of the countryside with a local guide which made our stay in the area very much more meaningful.

This is a very peaceful place to stay with notable attention-to-detail. We found the bed to be very comfortable, all of the guest areas impeccably clean, and the breakfast delicious. The warm, sweet smell of chocolate and roasted almonds wafting through the air from the MARS/Dove factory just down the street doesn't hurt, either!

The House is a gorgeous Victorian lovingly restored by hosts Ann and Dave. The House is centrally located to lots of great attractions in the area. Breakfasts were delicious and everything was homemade. Can't wait to go back when the porches and gardens are in bloom. Highly recommend a stay for an adult weekend. We have become B&B fans over... The Amanda Gish House is a hidden gem in Elizabethtown, PA. This small very intimate bed and breakfast is located near both Elizabethown College and the Masonic Village. Very comfortable and clean. Superb food and hospitality. A must stay for anyone in the area.

I recommend the Amanda Gish house for these reasons: 1. Very good hospitality. The hostess met us at the door and showed us to our room. She gave us a wonderful and thoughtful breakfast (to our liking) and took interest in us. 2. Very clean and tidy, nicely decorated with an old-world atmosphere. Beautiful porch and garden for relaxation... 3.... More

The hosts make this B&B the most enjoyable we've experienced. The home is decorated in a way that takes you back to a time when like was not so rushed. Also, the house design makes it easy for guests & hosts to easily have privacy. The food is excellent!! There is also a lovely porch and patio to enjoy in the... More

We were just passing through so only stayed for one night, but had a wonderful experience here. This is a beautiful late Victorian house with tons of charm, nicely decorated and furnished, and superbly maintained. My wife and I had the palatial "garden" room and our two girls (ages 11 and 13) were just down the hall in the "rose"... More

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The house is extremely well decorated. Anne and Dave were wonderful hosts. We came home one evening to a fire outside in the chiminea; had coffee and talked with Anne. We stayed in the Rose Room; the bed was extremely comfortable. The gourmet breakfasts were superb. Located just up the road from the... More
