I can't recommend the Langley Castle Hotel enough - it was a last minute decision to stay there driving up into the Keilder area - the Josephine room was available with it's canopied bed and double bath - fabulous. The restauarant and food was to die-for, intimate and seductive and truly lovely. We're going back - thanks guys !

We had our wedding in medieval barn and thought what better to end our celebration than a stay in a medieval castle. As if by fate, we found one of the rooms was the same name as where we currently live - so we booked a year ahead in the hope of finding something spectacular. We were not disappointed. The... More

The only time i have received this quality of service is in America where the staff will bend over backwards to make sure you have a great time. The room was amazing, clean, well presented and the attention to detail is second to none. The staff are a tribute to Anton and his leadership. There are a lot of visitor... More

I have taken several friends to dine at Langley Castle, mostly to celebrate those certain occasions in life. We have never been disappointed. The Manager, always on a busy schedule (everyone it seems, 'needs' him in another place within the Castle at the same time!) always makes time for the guests he comes across, whether it be in the Drawing... We stayed here in April 2008 when we celebrated our Silver Wedding anniversary. We had a wedding breakfast with our guests, and we stayed in the hotel as guests ourselves that evening. We have been on other occasions for Mother's Day and Valentines Day, and also for High Tea. Every one of our visits has been very special, and would... More

This was our 3rd stay at Langley Castle following our wedding there in March 2010. We were upgraded free of charge which was excellent value for money and the hotel are keen to carry this out for all customers when the hotel is quiet. Room price was £100 B + B via the castles own website and special offers. In... More

I have just read the last review about this hotel and I am wondering if we have stayed at the same hotel. From the moment we arrived we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. We were taken to our room and the girl offered to carry our case etc we declined as we were fine. The room was... More

We attended a wedding at Langely Castle this month. Firstly I would like to say that the wedding was fantastic, the wedding breakfast was fabulous and service impeccable, however as soon as the wedding breakfast ended so it would seem did the service! We booked 2 superior castle view rooms at a cost of £186 per room per night, not... More

Please see below a copy of the letter of apology which was sent 9 days after being advised My apologies for not having responded earlier, but I have been away from the Castle on personal family business. ------ I rarely receive complaints and even rarer to receive complaints about the staff, service and standards of housekeeping. It was, therefore, all... More

Quirky and impressive, Basically this Castle is a tower with a central stair case, so to reach the 1st floor you have 4 flights of stairs etc you need to be fit to get to the top. The feature room we stayed in had the most luxurious en-suite I have ever seen in a hotel in the UK (and I... More
