My wife and I had an excllent stay at the Inn. Everyone from the entire staff to the owner of the Inn went over the top to make our stay excellent! The dinner was simply amazing since all of their food is localy purchased and never touches a store. If you want a nice quiet place to relax, eat amazing... More

We enjoyed our stay at Eagles Mere Inn on almost all counts. The town is lovely, especially the nice trail around the lake. Our dinner at the Inn was very good, the staff very friendly and helpful (especially Kelly). Our room was fine, on the cozy (small) side, but comfortable and well equipped. The only drawback was the live music... More

Hi Pennsylvania Berry I agree with you regarding the loudness of that particular band, and I assure you that they will not be invited back. The problem I ran into that night, was that after telling the band to stop at 11:00, several groups of Inn guests requested the band play more songs, which they did against my request. I... More

I live about an hour away from Eagles Mere and have come to the conclusion that it's ALWAYS worth the drive. I heard about the Inn through some friends this summer and took my first trip up in June. Since then, I've been going every chance I get. Especially on Mondays when they have Mike Miz playing :) It's hard... More

The chef prepared 5 course meals that would rival any notable 5 star restaurant, the staff was not only welcoming, knowledgeable, but extremely accommodating to all guests, the establishment was extremely clean and inviting, and I have never seen a greater selection of the world’s finest beers anywhere in any establishment. For an Inn Keeper to take such pride in... More

This is an amazing little inn just four hours from DC but in another world. It is in a little town, Eagles Mere, called the town time forgot. The perfect weekend getaway. Eagles Mere is a small, turn of the 20th century town with lots of victorians around a lake that is drinking water quality. The entire lake is surrounded... More

Not a great place to stay. The food was adequate not gourmet...as advertised. The rooms were insignificant. The Lake was small and far away. The Inn was situated at the low end of town surrounded by garages. The below pretty much sums up my experience. I find it interesting the innkeeper named his pub The Blind Pig. The term "blind... Okay.......I'm not sure, did you actually stay here? Which room did you stay in? The lake is four hundred paces from our front door, just like our website explains. I don't know what "the low end of town means", but we are not surrounded by garages. We are the only restaurant in the county that actaully prepares all of the... More

The owner is a chef and the breakfast and dinner were included in the price. The food was amazing! The people in the Inn and the people in the town were very friendly and we felt so very welcome by everyone. We took a boatride around the lake and we swam in the lake. We took walks and we felt... The inn has wonderful meals that are included. We had a suite which had an old feel but was clean & fine. Skimpy on the products to be used in the shower, which was like a telephone booth. (no, I have never showered in a telephone booth) The area is fun to explore== the town itself, Rickett's Glen, World End.... More

I have to travel 50% of the time for business and you usually have to hold a gun at my head to get me to travel for pleasure, but this place is the exception. This is a small inn nestled in one of the nicest, most serene places on earth. The food, its included in the room price, is amazing,... More

The Eagles Mere Inn, the last of the full-service lodgings that remain from the town’s golden age, was built in 1878. Offering a variety of cozy guest rooms and suites, this country inn serves amazing full breakfasts as well as outstanding five-course gourmet dinners every night—and both meals are included in the very reasonable room rate. What’s more, the chef... More
