Such a lovely place, friendly employees and a great price. A nice change from the chain motels and hotels. The room was lovely and the area was quiet. Great water pressure in the shower! Close to restaurants and shopping.

I stayed at this lodge for business, and literally only slept in the room, hence the short review. The clerk was welcoming, pleasant & efficient. The room was neat and clean. The bathroom was clean. A basic hotel for a basic stay. My only complaint is that there were chairs outside along the walkway, directly outside the rooms, where guests were... More

My wife and I stayed here for the second time. This is an old fashioned motel where you stop in the office and then drive to your room. It is clean and basic and an excellent value. We paid $66 for a king room. Be sure to stop by Meadow's Ice Cream - just up the road.

It could be the setting for a hotel scene from a 1950's movie. They hand you an actual room key, attached to a diamond shaped keychain. It's nothing fancy, but it's well maintained and very clean. The really important things were up to date: the good sized flat screen TV, the comfortable mattress and free wi-fi. The bathroom is older,... More

I have stayed here many times as my company puts us up in a hotel when we go to terminals away from our home terminal. I love staying here. It is always clean and the front desk lady is very nice. It is vintage, like a motel built in the 50's or 60's and I like the old fashioned sense... More

Many independent road-side motels of this age & design have deteriorated into vice, mold and indignity. Not the Wye. You and your kids are safe here. It's not a recreational property and there's nothing to do. But if you're traveling on business or just passing through, this place is a very good choice. One has to wonder how they manage... More

Other motels were full because of Penn State game. So I called wye. The gal that took my reservation was not friendly at all. I had to call again to ask a question and she was less than happy to hear from me again. The room was clean enough. One of our queen beds had a FULL size sheet on... More

The Wye is a clean and comfortable old-style one level motel with pull up to the door parking. Don't know why it is listed as a B&B because it is not, only coffee is available. It is perfect for staying overnight for PSU football games and they don't gouge you on the rates and make you take two nights like... More

We stayed just over night and we were happy with the room. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. It was convenient to restaurants and the interstate. The only problem that I had was that the address that is listed does not work with GPS. The address that has to be put into GPS is: 220 Plank Rd... More

WYE Motor Lodge is a very clean, older style motel. They have updated the bathrooms and it really made a difference. They offer free coffee in the morning but no breakfast. This is OK for the price you pay there. A great bargain for the price.
