We pulled up to the rickety, old and crumbling Inn looking to fulfill our reservations for a room with two double beds. We ring the doorbell to the cobweb and bug infested office, only to be greeted by a guy with no shoes on who looks as if he just woke up. He unlocks the door for us, but does... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night. There were no lights in the parking lot. Then when we got in the room the tv didn't work nor was there any bathroom supplies. The maid woke us up at 830 am telling us we needed to leave.. We will never stay at a red carpet inn again...

I stayed at this make shift hotel, if you want to test the extremities of hazards to your body this is "resort" for you. I now travel with a pillow just in case I am stranded so I will sleep more comfortably in my car. To add insult to injury my credit card was charged for items that weren't even... More

This was the WORST places that i've ever stayed in! It smelled of mold, it was cold in the room even with the crappy heat being on, pillowcases were discolored and the sheets smelled. There was a hallway connected to our room that was reminiscent of the SHINING and it was creepy. I wouldn't allow a animal to stay there... More

Stayed with family on way to New York. Our children have special needs and hotel operator was very nice and accomadating. We paid $60/night and room was nice and clean for the price. Would stay here again.

This is by far the worst hotel ever! The room we had was loaded with spiders, especially in the bathroom. The air conditioner didn't work properly. For some reason it was barely pumping out any cold air (It happened to be a weekend where the temperatures were in the mid 90's). This was the only hotel I ever stayed in... More

I stayed here for business because it was cheap. The towels and sheets, etc were stained/torn, but seemed clean. Room had a musty smell. The motel is managed 24/7 by one woman, who is also providing care to a very old woman. Seems to be an indentured servant type situation, as the manager told me she was not allowed to... More

This hotel has got to be one of the worst I have stayed in!!!!! We had a group staying in different rooms and all had the same experience. We arrived to find two baggies of water above every door of the hotel. When entering our room, the first thing we did was spray perfume because of the smell. The chair... More

My wife and I flew up to Harrisburg, PA and chose the Red Carpet Inn (Duncannon) and hoped that we would stay there for 3 nights. After discovering that the Hot water was NOT hot at all, and the rooms are not very clean, the towels looked at if someone had washed a car with them, we made these complaints... More

I met my son in Duncannon, PA when he was hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2000. After having seen the Doyle, I decided to stay at another hotel and drove out to the highway to find one. We ended up getting a room at the Red Carpet Inn and it was HORRIBLE! The Doyle couldn't have been any worse than... More
