My wife and I and a travelling colleague chose to stay at the Inn en route home to Ontario, Canada from a conference in Virginia. Du Bois seemed to be a good half-way point for an overnight stop, and the Inn's website intrigued us. Despite our arrival in the midst of a thunderstorm, Linda welcomed us with a tour of... More

My wife and I stopped by The Inn at Narrows Creek last year to shop and we were charmed by their decor and location - it SEEMED promising. Until I called to reserve a room. Sometimes we choose to be spontaneous - and because we live within a 50 mile radius of The Inn, we thought we'd give it a... More

Obviously this potential guest did not contact our Inn for a reservation. First of all, we do not have two ladies here working at 7 p.m. in the evening. So I am sure that conversation never happened. And our experience has been that someone calling that late for a reservation does not want to leave a credit card to hold... More

We just returned from a stay at The Inn at Narrows Creek. We went to see the elk in Elk County. The area with elk is about thirty minutes from the Inn. The innkeeper was very friendly and showed us to our room. We were in the sunflower suite. We were quite surprised at how big it was, given the... More

We've stayed here twice. Once in the "Apple" room and once in the "Angel" room. Both rooms were very similar with a private bath. The decor is warm and inviting. Linda is very accommodating and serves a wonderful breakfast to your room setting it on the table for two. The grounds are beautiful and full of whimsy. The country store... More

While visiting family in the area, we found this little gem as a place to stay near our travels through the area, and found it a wonderful place! Lovely shop, personal attention, very clean and comfortable! Especially loved the breakfast brought to our room as a very nice touch. We stayed in the Sunflower room, and found it to be... More

This was our second stay in the Americana room which is decorated in rustic red, white, and blue. Electric fireplace in sitting room adds to the relaxing atmosphere which includes a Jacuzzi tub and beautiful brass bed. Delicious breakfast is served in room. The trees on the grounds have old man faces carved into them. Really cool to see.

It was tough finding accommodations that would take our spaniel during an organized hunt in PA. The Inn was the perfect choice! We stayed in the Lodge Suite...it was spacious, comfortable and a lovely way to relax after a day of hunting. We loved that breakfast was delivered to our room! Not to mention that it was a delicious combo... More

We are two guys who ride motorcycles a lot, hate roadside motels, look for inns and bed/breakfasts, don't like fru-fru, and usually end up with two rooms. This place had a suite with a private room and a bunk room (I think it was the Log Cabin room) that was PERFECT for us. We saved money, and the VERY accommodating... More

A strange set up with our room being over the store with access up a side stairs, the room was very cluttered with very little room to put anything. I was unable to turn the table light off only by removing the plug, there was also a light ornament that was too bright at night and I couldn't turn off.... More

The bed and pillows in our room were absolutely terrible, couldn't sleep at all, spent the night on the sofa. Limited space to put anything down because of decorations everywhere. I like naive art and Americana, but this was too much, the bath in the living area was most peculiar. It seems to be a case of style over substance.... More
