It was my first time staying at this place. Its a locally, family owned hotel and not one of those extremely expensive chain hotels. Rooms are you basic rooms just like any place, but it was well maintained, really clean, and budget friendly. Amenities were really simple, but i didn't need much. Free wifi, refrigerator in room, and coffee in... More

I used a coupon from one of the books that are available in many of the service plazas along the highway. I was running a little low on funds near the end of my vacation and decided to give this hotel a try. There were only a few rooms left when I arrived. It appears that many of the guests... More

OK so we stayed here to attend the Groundhog Day festivities in Punxsutawney--important to know so you can calibrate your expectations. We were therefore looking for something cheap, warm and relatively close. Bing! on all three accounts. Was there mold in the bathroom? Yes. Was the bathroom freezing? Yes. Did we care? No! It's Groundhog Day!

I've stayed here many times, for a variety of reasons, with family, as a couple ;-), and with friends. This is just a basic hotel. It's clean, there's coffee in the lobby in the morning, there's a fridge and such in the room, the AC/heat have always worked great, the bathrooms have always been stocked with a bar of soap,... Room was very clean, bed was comfy, staff very friendly. Shower had good pressure. Would definately go back. A/C worked great. No bed bugs!!! Slept great no noise. If you are looking for a room for sleeping while visiting the area, book here! Was extremely pleased and it is locally/family owned...so instead of spending your $$$$ on a big chain... More

Pass those chain motels at the I-80 exit and drive one mile into DuBois for a clean room and a reasonable rate. This motel is ‘older’ but very clean and well maintained. The young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and allowed me to pull my small trailer up close to the building to keep the rain off.... More

Hotel was fine, rooms comfortable, staff pleasant. Restaurant associated with the hotel is a complete disaster. Most items on limited menu were not available. Breakfast in the morning was very slow, tea undrinkable, pancakes inedible.

We've stayed there for 5 yrs in a row for a week each time, always a room available, staff is always accomodating for our needs (which aren't many), mainly just a place to lay our heads at night after spending the day with family & friends while visiting from NC. Call in advance to make a reservation - though it... More

My friend and I were in town for the Groundhog day festivities in Punxsutawney. We stayed far away to avoid traffic,we found this hotel on the web. When we checked in we were greeted by a young woman who was very polite. We arrived before the permitted check in time but they let us check in early no problem. The... More

Very unfriendly and snoopy proprietors. Dirty and cold. Any other motel would be better than this dump.
