Theis Fairfield Inn had some very nice amenities, indoor pool, nice soaps, towels and bedding. It was clean and the staff was attentive. Continental breakfast could be better, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. If your looking for a good value, I recommned this hotel more

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night after a day of visiting summer camps in the area. The room itself had some nice amenities. One huge problem was that our room (#222) faced the parking lot where there was a street light - not your ordinary street light but the kind they use at ball fields during night games.... more

This hotel is just the other side of Scranton in Dickson City and we found it an ideal for an overnight after a travel day that had begun at 4AM in Morocco. Our welcome was most pleasant from the young lady at the front desk, the beds were comfy, the rooms clean and spacious,( my son appreciated the flat screen... more

We had a very nice stay at this Fairfield Inn. I'm usually a bad sleeper in strange places now that I have young children, but I was impressed that I only woke up twice during the night and was able to fall asleep right away. For me, that's a sign of a good hotel. The mattresses were comfortable and the... more

Hotel is at a convenient location off Rt.81. Many restaurants around. Clean and well appointed rooms and a small lobby. Breakfast was better than we expected. Did not have room cleaning service for one day out of the 4 days we stayed. No exercise room but could use one at Residence Inn next door. Staff is friendly. The floor and... more

We have stayed here many times, and will continue to stay here in the future. The rooms are large and always impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows. The staff is friendly, greeting everyone on their way in and out. There is always hot coffee in the lobby, and sometimes there are cookies or candy. The... more

This was the most infuriating experience...we booked our reservation several days in advance, secured with a credit card. The night of arrival, I called the hotel at 10:30pm to tell them we would be there around 2:00am. Tom at the front desk confirmed he would hold the room. We arrived around 1:00am with our 3-yr-old twins groggy from a long,... more

A nice hotel, just like most other Marriott Courtyard type hotels. There is a Marriott Courtyard just adjacent in fact. The hotels are right next to a large shopping mall with many chain restaurants nearby as well. Downtown Scranton is about 5-10 minutes away on an expressway. Despite being close to the mall and highways the room was very quiet.... more

I used my points to stay at this small hotel overnight while traveling on the East Coast. Great staff, nice beds - only problem was finding it which was not easy. Otherwise nice stay. more
