We stayed here for the Stoudts Winterfest in February. It was well worth the price we paid. It is a little dated but the room was very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and they answered any questions we had. We were surprised when we checked in and we actually got a KEY to open the door....

If your looking for a reasonable, clean, quiet place to stay in Lancaster county close to all attractions with nice golf package plans then this is your place. We stay every year for the Lititz rotary craft fair. My Friend and I hit the fair all day Saturday while the guys golf. Lots of nice reasonable golf courses in the... More

I've stayed here 4 times this year for dog shows and look forward to returning. It's an older inn but is fairly well maintained and improvments are continous. The grounds are well kept, the staff is very friendly and accomodating. They go above and beyond to make our group comfortable. This is the perfect place for an on-site dog show.

We arrived and the room that was reserved for us was very hot. We turned on the air conditioner and the room did not cool at all. We called the front desk, who apologized and ended up moving us to another room. The 2nd room was in a different building but the roof had leaked on the bed so we... More

My wife and I agreed that this is an average, 3-out-ot-5 lodging facility (rounded up), but decided we would give it a 4 based on the outstanding service from check-in to checkout. We chose this location due to cost and their Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire packages. Plus, they are right off the PA Turnpike, which makes visiting the faire very easy... More

We had stayed here once before and it clearly has deteriorated. The first room we were given didn't have heat. The second had multiple problems. Not clean in appearance, hair on the tub, grimy air vent, broken door lock on the back door (the plate was falling off). Torn curtains. Apparently they think it is a reasonable excuse to say... More

Not knowing one should make reservations a year in advance, I found myself hunting rather desperately for a decent hotel I could stay in with my 14-year-old niece between the Friday night concert and our Saturday excursion to the lovely Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. I found this one only 20 minutes away, and checked out its reviews on TripAdvisor. I read... More

Not the swankiest hotel on the block, but it had rooms available. Concrete steps to upper level a little scarey. Needs to be fixed. Also noted that the fire extinguisher on the level of the laundry room was out of date by a year. Had a nice balcony to sit on that viewed the pool. The back balcony had a... More

The Black Horse Lodge is an older Motel with great service. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and responsive. Any problems are resolved quickly. The rates very from daily to monthly and are quite reasonable. I stayed from September 2012 to May 2013 and enjoyed the location and the people.
