We have been to this b&b several times over the years, and every visit is equally wonderful! If you are looking for a little place to retreat to from the busy-ness of life and if you enjoy the woods and wildlife, book a stay at Furnace Hills. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. The rooms and common areas are the... More

Love love loved this place. From feeling hidden in the woods to live chickens! Loved it all! One would expect a log cabin type home to carry that musty smell, but this place had high cathedral type ceilings & was immaculate! (espec. considering they have kids and a dog!) Im just gonna list 10 reasons why I enjoyed our stay... More

We stayed here during a weekend trip and enjoyed it very much. The building and the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is also superb. The hosts recommended some activities in this area and there is plenty to do. We can fully recommend this place in every respect.

This place is right around the corner from a co-workers house so I decided to stay here on business out of convenience. The house is beautiful and each room is private from the rest of the house. Everything is very clean and modern. I highly recommend this option for anyone looking to stay in the area. The hosts are extremely... More

My girlfriend and I spent the night here during the summer. Liz was wonderful, showed us around the house and the property. The interior of the B&B was beautiful, the walls and floor are exposed pine. The room was very comfortable, clean and intimate. The breakfast that Liz prepared was made with many local ingredients, and was incredible! Far better... More

My husband and I spent a very nice weekend at this beautiful inn. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by Liz and Ben on the deck. They invited us in and showed us to our room. We were in the Penn State room, which was very nice and clean. The room has a very comfortable bed. The bathroom... More

My wife and I stayed with Liz and Ben for a night during a weekend getaway for our birthdays. It was a great experience and Liz and Ben were great hosts. Breakfast was great, the rooms were very comfortable and the entire place was spotless. The outdoor hot tub was a treat and was fun to relax in the evening... More

We decided to stay at the Furnace Hills B&B based upon location & the favorable reviews. What we got was so much more! Proprietor comments- • Reception: Liz Ehrhart was a delightful and down to earth person who welcomed us with great warmth and enthusiasm. Her husband Ben and two lovely girls were an added bonus. And of course Angus, their beautiful Husky, greeted us very calmly but affectionately. • Willingness to accommodate: Liz was so willing to help, she carried a suitcase... More

his bed breakfast was one of the best places we have stayed at. Liz and her family made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was nothing short of great, everything was home made. There is a outdoor hot tub which is a good end of the day treat. Liz and her husband went to great lengths to make this bed... More
