We are staying on site C-13 and at 6:45 am a large construction dump truck dumped a huge load of gravel outside our travel trailer door. Not only did he dump but had to beep, beep, beep while backing up about 6 times. The owner in a white truck then carried on a long conversation with the gravel truck driver,... More

This was our second visit to Hickory Run, and I'm amazed by the negative reviews. Both times we've been there staff was courteous and helpful and the grounds were well kept. The bath house was spotless, yes the building was old but everything is very clean. Our kids had a blast, they were exhausted by the end of the weekend.... More

Its a affordable rate because everything else cost extra! WiFi (which is horrible) cost extra, showers cost extra. Roads are horrible! I ripped a jack off pulling in. Staff is very nice. Pool is nice and big. No TV signal or CATV. Our site was nice.

My wife and I recently stayed at Hickory Run Campground. When we arrived, the very first thing that we notice was that the grass was in desperate need of cutting. Looked as if it had been several weeks since a mower had been around the campground. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly and courteous. When we arrived... More

Pool was great for the kids, laundry room is clean and the gift shop is well-stocked. Enjoyed the playground and fishing in the lake. Trailer site didn't have sewer hook and up, but it was private and worth it. However, dumping before leaving was a bit of challenge (on a hill), would recommend fixing that.
