The title pretty much says it all. The place has all of the basics and with a nice view of the hills and has a Subway within walking distance. more

Dinner was so good the first night, that we went back the next night to try something else on the menu. The Bison-brauten with red cabbage and spaetzle was a good October meal. The next night I requested the same sides with the lemon sauteed chicken, and the waiter and chef were happy to accomodate. Whenever we go back to... more

This place is not a DUMP as some (2005) posters have said..........Myself and friends of mine have been staying here since 1992 when us Chicagoan's Discovered a marvelous place called Knoebel's Grove, an amusement park in Elysburg. Its about 9 miles from the Pine Barn Inn. When I stayed here in May 2009 the older building was under going a... more

I stayed at the Pine Barn Inn one weekend in order to attend a friend's wedding. The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff was exceedingly helpful. They even called me when they found the make-up bag I accidentally left in the room and mailed it to me the next day. Danville is not the most hopping place, but the... more

The staff was not welcoming but I am giving this hotel a rating of 4 because the Suite that we stayed in was really nice, clean and spacious. We stayed in the new building 300 on the second floor facing the street. We had a King Suite. King size bed in one room and a living room with a sofa... more

Used to be owned by Arnold Palmer's in-laws, and was a charming place. Now has been bought out by Geisinger Medical Center next door. Per everyone's recommendations we booked into building #3. Don't get a room on the second floor that faces right into the parking light--headlights are at window level. Nice surprise to find microfrig and mini-microwave. Room a... more

I stayed on the new building (300). The room was clean, quiet and spacious. It had a microwave and a small fridge. It supposed to have wifi, however I did not had my laptop with me so cannot evaluate. The staff was very attentive. Very convenient if you are visiting Geisinger. The food at the restaurant was good and the... more

I have stayed at the Pine Barn several times in the past 3 years and have always had a good experience. I have stayed in the 300 building in the past but this time I had a room in the older building which was not a great experience. The room smelled and needed a good cleaning. The bed needed to... more

This Pine Barn Inn is located in Danville, PA. We stayed for one night while passing through going to Knoebels Amusement Park from Lancaster. We checked in around 5pm without any issues. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled spacious two queen bed rooms. Overall, nice décor, very clean and quiet. No issues with the room………..except internet access…. Overall... more

After reading about bed bugs at the nearby Red Roof, a hotel I've frequented for almost a decade for my visits to Knoebels, I decided to give the Pine Barn a try based on recommendations from friends. Aside from the economy hotels in the area, Pine Barn had a great rate for the area. We had a king room in... more
