If your looking for a room with TV and phone then this is not the place for you. If you enjoy taking pictures, video or just plain watching trains then this is the place to go. The Inn is located across the street from NS's busy triple track main Pittsburgh Line. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and all have their... More

Sole purpose of my visit was to watch trains. Tom, the proprietor, is incredibly congenial and reminded me of my grand-father with his stories. I am going to rate sleep quality as average because it was the first time for me at a Bed & Breakfast. And, it would be unfair to compare these beds to those found at a... More

Just stayed 4 nights with 4 friends in the new Leigh Valley suite - 3 rooms each with 2 beds and there are 2 bathrooms with showers off the hall. There is also a small "lounge" at the front door. This was about my 10th stay at the Inn and as usual it was a wonderful experience. Went to Cumberland... More

Had an absolute blast at Tom's place in Cresson, The Station Inn. Travelling up from Australia to the USA, this would be my highlight of the 4 weeks in America. The inn is beautiful inside & out. Plenty of other travelling railfans to meet & have a laugh with. Made some great friends. Breakfast on both mornings I was there... More

Stayed at The Station Inn the first weekend of August 2014 for my 89th separate Station Inn visit since my first stay in 1997, The Station Inn has seen many improvements over that span of time. The Inn had a major addition added in 2000, along with the addition of two additional guestrooms at that time in 2000....The O@W room... More

Just back from a to short stay of 3 days and 2 nights at the Station Inn. What can I say this time? My 13 y.o son and I were assigned the Erie room right off the main room. The room was spotless, very comfortable and overall this is the best room in the Inn! The breakfasts were wonderful and... More

Just spent four nights and enjoyed every second. Premises full of character, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and excellent breakfasts. Overlooks busy railway line which was the reason why I and most guests were there. As a light sleeper I thought beforehand that this might be too much of a good thing at night but I need not have worried. The... More

My first time there with my brother who has stayed here several times. The cleanliness, comfort, the Porch, The Food and of course Tom and Sandy and guests were great. Looking forward to go back again.

My husband, rain fan from birth, loves it here. He goes 3 times a year from Huntington,WV. Always sees lots of trains, has great breakfasts and so enjoys the camaraderie with other "foamers" (railroaders term for rail fans-foaming at the mouth) on the porch. He doesn't do computers so I'm writing this for him.

I stayed at The Station Inn, in May of 2013. First night was very warm and I had the windows open as I went to bed. Was just nodding off and an east bound heavy freight coming up the hill, sounded as if it was coming through the room. Awesome! Loved it. My two nights here were excellent. Train photography...
