Strong recommendation - outstanding stay. Staff on the phone and at reception were top notch, and very helpful. We arrived late after several hours on the road, and we pleased to find the restaurant and bar still open ('til midnight). Lobby and reception are great - lots of flat panel TVs and little "nooks" where you sit quietly and relax.... More

We have stayed here a couple of times and will do so again. We were immediately given a new room across the hall when we discovered that someone had smoked in ours (tsk, tsk). We then went in search of a bedtime snack, and the front desk filled our sippy cups with milk and warmed them up for our 2... More

I stayed there for 2 nights last weekend with my daughter while she attended a basketball tournament at Slippery Rock State University (about 35 minutes away). The hotel seemed new. It was clean and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The room had 2 beds and a pullout couch and what must have... More

Stayed at this hotel for a shopping trip to Grove City and Pittsburg. Excellent experience from check in to check out. We were offered a tour to show us where the amenities were upon check in, which I had never had offered to me before. Room was very large, functional and comfortable. Bathroom amenities were very nice. Selection of food... More

After looking at several hotels for an overnight stay in Pittsburgh we settled on this one. This hotel was not like other hotels we have stayed in when we checked in the front desk clerk (Jennifer) asked if we would like a tour. Wow! a tour? It turned out to be a walk around the lobby but we were impressed... More

We've stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times now. We live in Pittsburgh and have used it for weekend getaways during the winter. This time we were there for 5 nights b/c we lost power and had no heat at our house. The staff was very nice and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping. They even allowed... More

I have to travel to Ross Park mall seasonally and this hotel has been a great option when I cant stay in downtown Pittsburgh due to time/commute. I had never stayed at a Hyatt Place, or even heard of one, until 2 years ago, at this property, which has turned me into a Hyatt Member, and I prefer them over... More

We often visit relatives in Pittsburgh and with our five person family often felt like we were cramped or too much of a burden to the relatives so we have taken to spending a night in a hotel instead when visiting. Hyatt Place is the first hotel we have gone back to more than once. We love it. It is... More

Nice, quiet hotel close to everything. Adequate breakfast with oatmeal only free hot item (eggs, bacon, sausage available at additional cost). Nice lobby and eating area. Starbucks available 24/7 as well as limited meal menu. Staff was more than helpful. Rooms were spacious and well decorated. Noise from adjoining rooms was somewhat a problem, and the doors made a lot... More

I've stayed at three comparable area hotels and this is by far the best. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Workout room is standard fare with treadmills, eliptical, and bike. Televisions are attached for private viewing. The room is kept cool enough that once moving around you aren't boiling. The rooms are a decorated in a trendy way with... More
