Checked in in the evening after confirming the hotel would hold the reservation for a non-smoking room all night, if necessary. My husband and I stayed three nights. The hotel seemed like it was newly renovated -- new paint, new carpeting throughout the hallways. The room and bathroom were very clean. No shampoo, hairdryer or tissues are provided so bring... We were quite disappointed. Our supposedly non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes and there were long black hairs on the bedspread and bathroom floor. The mattress was also uncomfortable. To my dismay, I ended up making several trips to the lobby due to the lack of common amenities. Trip One: shortly after arrival, we discovered there was no clothes iron or... More

Just checked in earler today 7/3/14. This is a great place. The price is great and the updates to the rooms including the bathrooms are very impressive for what most would consider a low budget motel. This location kicks it up many notches from the usual Motel 6. I have stayed at many and some are a little more bare... More

I stayed at the Motel 6 Pittsburgh Airport for one night while traveling home from a business trip, so that I could be close to the airport for my morning flight. Check in was easy, and the desk clerk was pleasant and helpful, providing directions to a local breakfast spot with quick service for the morning. The room was very... More

I stayed here when flying in to interview for a job in Pittsburgh last summer. It was as most Motel 6's are-affordable, conveniently located and without a lot of amenities. Its proximity to the Airport was what had me staying at it as I was looking to have easy access to rental cars at the Airport. The rate here was... More

I must say I was pleased for this hotel being a Motel 6. I think one of the best parts was that there was no carpeting! Love that since they allow pets and I am extremely allergic. I was concerned about that but had no problem whatsoever. Also, since there is no carpet on the floor I believe that really... More

If your a bargain hunting smoker with a dog and OK with a lumpy, soft mattress, the light's on for you. BUT... we're not. Not only are they the worst mattresses ever, the place reeked from cigarette smoke - in both buildings. We were moved to new rooms in a different building. It was better; we also had no choice... during our trip to Pennsylvania we had a very hard time finding a hotel due to many big games and conferences going on. we had a recommendation to try the newly remodeled motel 6 (from another high ranking hotel chain actually) we were very hesitant as we have had horrible experiences with this chain before. when we arrived there the... Rooms and common areas were neat and clean. There were no odd odors but, the beds were absolutely the worst we have ever slept/LAID AWAKE in! I think they bought the cheapest mattresses and then put them out in the road for trucks to run them over. It was cheap and close to where we needed to be but, never... More

I was travelling with a group and we needed a place to stay on the western side of the state. We checked in late and had to leave early in the morning, but had a great sleep. I was very impressed with the updated flooring, beds, furniture and bathroom fixtures.
