I have stayed at the Cook Homestead five or six times. Barb and Denny are wonderful innkeepers. They make you feel welcome and will do anything to assure you have a pleasant stay. Barb cooks a full breakfast every morning. I was there for six mornings and did not have one repeat meal. The food is delicious! There is always plenty to eat. There are eight rooms at this bed & breakfast. I've stayed in three of them. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. more

The Cook Homestead is the rarest of finds - a property that offers elegance and cozy friendliness; countless options for outdoor activities that often succumb to the allure of a seductive porch swing or a long nap in a comfortable bed; the opportunity to fill your day with hiking, kayaking, fishing, or doing nothing at all, and not feel as though any choice is the wrong thing to do. Barbara and Denny are the most gracious, delightful innkeepers I've ever met, and Barbara's breakfasts are worth the trip. I will always return to the Cook Homestead whenever I visit Cook Forest.
