Location to local businesses attractions is good . There is a Walmart across the highway . This is an old motel with smaller rooms and bathrooms , but rooms are clean . We have stayed here at least a half dozen times .

Fourth time and still the same. Reasonable, well maintained, clean, quiet, and comfortable, but no amenities whatsoever. The only drawback is its location 1+ mile up a hill on a high traffic road with a shoulder that gets rougher each time we bike it. But then you expect motels to be on highways where the cars are.

Riding the Great Allegheny Passage, I stayed overnight at the Melody Motor Lodge located on Rte 119 between Connellsville and Uniontown, PA. The motel was clean but very basic and dated (1970s style - or earlier). The motel room was dark and dingy. The owners were friendly and prices were reasonable. This is a basic accommodation if you want an... More

We stayed here for two nights to escape the rain on the great Allegheny passage. The hotel is basically clean. It is very very dated. Rooms are small. The towels are very very thin. It seems to be used by quite a few bikers. There are not a lot of other choices.

The rooms are dated. But very clean and extremely comfortable. I have stayed there three times and will stay there again. This is my hometown. Since there really isn't any other options in the Connellsville area this is where I will stay again when I go back to visit. Staff is super friendly and there is a nice diner called... More

My friends and i were riding the C&O/GAP bike trail and needed a place to stop because of rain and storms. It was like stepping back to the 60's . Very well priced. Rooms are not fancy and there are no frills except color TV., but the were extremely clean, the staff was friendly even though we arrived very late.... More

this was an upscale motel in the 50's given it was a one story brick building set well back from the road. Rooms are tiny; bathrooms are tinier but rooms are clean and vermin free. It has TV. Owners are attentive. This is the only place to stay in Connellsville....the former coke capital of the USA in its glory days.

Tired, old and dated. I didn't even want to go beyond the lobby. I would discount the fact that it's 1.6 miles from the Greater Allegheny Passage trail. If bicycling, one has to navigate an uphill, busy, narrow, two lane road to get there. If riding on the sidewalk it's bumpy and broken. Nothing to write home about unless you... More

If you are old enough to remember the old road side “Motor Inns” it will seem like going back in time should you make this your home for a night or two. Little has changed from the paneled walls to the pink and blue funky tiled bathrooms. The fact is when I travel I’m far more interested in a clean... More

The Melody Lodge is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a very affordable room, only a mile away from the Allegheny Trail. The owners provide a no frills, comfortable and clean place to stay for about half of what you'd pay at most other places. Did I mention clean? Not only was my room clean and well kept, but... More
