Lovely B&B with a range of rooms & facilities. Garden and outdoor area are well maintained and a joy to linger in relaxing. Located right on the river. Yes there are trains - but you quickly get used to them and they do not really detract from the natural beauty. Owner is very conscientious ensuring your comfort. One area for... More

My wife and I stayed here during our bike ride across the GAP trail. Dan and Robin were wonderful hosts and very helpful. As other reviewers have pointed out, Paddlers Lane is located close to 2 miles from town, so it adds a bit to an already long ride. Having said that, Robin helped us get into town for dinner... We stopped at Paddler's Lane to do some bicycle riding on the GAP Trail. A wonderful comfortable place to settle in after our bike ride. Good to explore the GAP both north and south. The accommodations are beautiful and Dan is very helpful, even to good recommendation for supper. A relaxing breakfast sent us off to explore more our second... More

Great B&B property. The house was warm and cozy, and Robin and Dan were very accommodating and fantastic hosts. We especially enjoyed our chats with Dan. The fireplace in the living room was all set up for us and we just had to light it, and then enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the living room.

We really enjoyed our trip to Paddler's Lane. Robin and Dan have a great place and create a great atmosphere. They make it easy to sit down and relax in front of the fire. We look forward to coming back here soon.

This place is gorgeous. Clearly this B&B is a labor of love for Dan and Robin, the two owners. They were extremely accommodating. The location is perfect, and a great place to stay the night before exploring Fallingwater.

I took my boyfriend Bob here as a late bday present and what a great place it is! First we were so impressed by our room, it was clean, the bed was comfy and it was quite cozy! That night we met Dan the owner and by the end of breakfast the next morning we felt like we had known... More

We have stayed at Paddler's Lane several times - usually camping, but occasionally splurging for a stay at the Chalet as well. Aside from the trains which can be seen as fun or as a nuisance depending on your inclination, it truly has everything you need for a getaway from home but with the comforts of a home. This is... Loved the trains espexcially the horn sounds which added to the atmosphere and did not keep us awake at all. Setting was gorgeous, lots to do, lovely breakfasts and a very willing, interesting and helpful host. Met lots of other great guests. Wonderful.x

Really nice place, and would come back in a second, if it wasn't for the freight trains running night and day only 50 feet away. They kindly leave ear plugs, but even so, trains can be remarkably loud. Stay away from the Last Rapid room which has windows facing the tracks. That said, food was good, and the back yard... More
