We spent two nights at Hanna House in the first floor bedroom and wish we could have stayed longer. Frances is a great hostess: fabulous breakfast, great conversation, very accommodating, and very prompt and gracious with sending back a book my daughter left behind. We came to the area to visit the Wright houses but Hanna House is where we... More

We stayed at Hanna House for 3 nights, where we spent the days to hike nearby Ohiopyle and visit several Frank Lloyd Wright sites. Hanna House itself, the grounds and Frances are warm, accommodating and interesting. We highly recommend this bed & breakfast whether staying for several days or just passing through.

My wife and I spent two great nights at the Hanna House just outside of Confluence on our 6 day bike trip along the GAP trail. The 120 year old brick farmhouse is roomy and comfortable with an inviting, laid back feel. The 100 acre property makes for a relaxing setting when sitting on the open porches. Frances, the hostess and... More

Had a very pleasant time at the Hanna house, clean, neat, affordable and the host is very accommodating. Beautiful setting, 100 acres, catch and release pond. We stayed in the first floor bedroom with private bath. Definitely would go again! Mark

Five of us stayed here on a bike trip along the Great Allegheny Passage to Harpers Ferry -- it was our favorite stay of a great 6-day trip. The building is remarkably comfortable and idiosyncratically elegant, with some clever and unusual architectural and design touches. Rooms are very comfortable and the common area is great! The breakfast was superb. Frances,... More

The Hanna House was recent overnight stop for our group biking the GAP trail. Francis greeted this tired and thirsty cyclist with some wonderful iced tea and sweet cake to get my "fog" lifted. She really made me feel welcome and graciously went out of her way to take me back to town for a take out dinner. The morning... More

We just stayed at the Hanna House B and B and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Francis, the owner, is a gracious, generous hostess who made us feel very welcome. The house is a unique civil war era structure and the food that was served was wonderful. Not only were we provided with a tasty breakfast, but there was a wonderful... More

The Hanna House was as adorable as the pictures on line. The house was immaculate! Francis, the owner and chef extraordinaire was very sweet and accommodating. We drove to Ohio Pyle to do our biking, hiking, etc. which is another beautiful destination. I would highly recommend the Hanna House to anyone. D Bream

My husband and I stayed at Hanna House for a 3 night getaway while we cycled the GAP and enjoyed the Fall colors. This was the best bed and breakfast stay. we've ever had. Frances Thompson, the owner, is just lovely, and she made us feel right at home. Frances had fresh apple cake waiting for us every afternoon. And... More
