We stayed at the Hanna House over the Summer while traveling the Great Allegheny Passage. Loved everything about the Hanna House, Frances the owner was an outstanding hostess. She made us feel very welcome. Would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Hanna House for a 3 night getaway while we cycled the GAP and enjoyed the Fall colors. This was the best bed and breakfast stay. we've ever had. Frances Thompson, the owner, is just lovely, and she made us feel right at home. Frances had fresh apple cake waiting for us every afternoon. And... More

Delightful 4 nights. A grand old farm house - pleasant inside with a comfortable, relaxing common area w/ use of microwave, TV, hot water. Frances' breakfast were delicious, and home made cake at night a special bonus. We've done B&B's 30 yrs, and this stands out as especially welcoming and homey. (Some do share baths). Peaceful, restful visit.

Beautiful old farmhouse with modern amenities. Just know that there is no air conditioning for the hot months and few private baths. The room downstairs was clean and comfortable. Fran is an excellent baker and provides a good breakfast too. Make sure to climb the hill in back for a scenic view of the mountains!

My wife and I stayed in the Tulip Room for 3 nights in late September 2014. Full bed (comfortable), ceiling fan, working heat, across from shared bath. (We had no key to our room—previous occupant took it by mistake, but no problems anyway. We were offered another room, but we stuck with what we had.) Room was a bit small... More

Frances and her B&B were excellent. We were riding the GAP trail (only 1/2 mile away) and were greeted with 3 different goodies to quiet our bellies. The house is large and magnificent. Our room was on the first floor, spacious, and with a unique bathroom. Complimentary trips to town. Can't say enough good things about this B&B.

I spent the night at Hanna House while bicycling the Great Allegheny Passage from Cumberland, MD to West Newton, PA and really had an enjoyable time. I would have stayed longer if I could. For cyclists, it's an easy half-mile ride from the Harnedsville trailhead (near milepost 60). Homemade cake and tea were waiting for me when I arrived after... More

Another B&B nearby recommended Hanna House to us. It was the most enjoyable stay during our 3-week round trip (from NYC via Asheville to Chicago) and we stayed three nights instead of one because Frances, the host, and the house itself were so wonderful. Plus: a great breakfast, complimentary home-made ice tea and chocolate cake, what more could you ask... More

We loved the Hanna House--great location and wonderful welcoming host. Homelike and very comfortable. Nice commons area where we enjoyed an exuberant card game before a well-earned restful night. Frances is the best host our group of friends met on the trail. Hope to return.
