Overall a very pleasant stay at the Parker House. We were in the new building and it was clean, roomy and reasonably comfortable. I think the best part of this inn is the location and the sitting areas. There are three or four sitting areas where people can gather and talk and have a drink before walking to dinner. They... Stayed at this lodging establishment while travelling then GAP. The rooms were very clean and the property well maintained. The property is very convenient from the trail. It is across the street from a decent restaurant. I Would stay again while biking the GAP.

Lovely airy rooms, a pleasant lawn and garden and easy access to the GAP trail. This is really not a bed and breakfast but kitchen facilities and coffee is provided. I didn't miss the breakfast--i hate french toast. But I wished we had stopped at a store on the way and bought the makings for breakfast and a bottle of... More

Convenient to the GAP Trail for our first overnight northbound, the Parker House rose high above our expectations. Mary could not have made it easier for us from reservation to check-in, thankfully so after a challenging ride with some unexpected weather. It was spotless inside and wonderfully appointed. The stay was perfect, and the protection for our bike equipment was... More

We were traveling the GAP southbound and spent a night here. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms in the "older" section of the house. It had a shared bathroom. The room was bright and clean with a good bed. It didn't have "fussy" B&B touches which was nice. Also, the air conditioner was nice as it was hot... More

I was tasked with providing a suitable place for a strategic planning meeting. The group was 30 people. I arranged for Parker House and it was perfect! The setting was light, airy, informal, and comfortable. Part of the meeting was for the whole group and part in smaller groups. The sunroom accommodated the whole group and there are plenty of... Rode into Confluence in a rain storm and just happened to find Mary at the inn since it was low season. We ended up having the entire house to ourselves all afternoon and night. What a great place. My husband can't stop talking about it. Beautiful furnishings, fully appointed kitchen so we could cook a meal, etc. Great bike shed... More

In late October my two friends and I rolled our loaded touring bicycles into Confluence PA. Our plan to camp out was thwarted by the lateness of the season. Two residents of Confluence and "Mary", the proprietor, made us welcome at the "Parker House". What a great serendipity! We were surrounded with very impressive, comfortable, modern accommodations. We had a building... More

I've stayed at the Parker house twice now and both times were absolutely delightful. The place is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. Mary, the proprietor, is a gracious host who goes the distance to make sure you have a good experience. Staying at the Parker House is one of the highlights of biking the GAP.

Two friends and I stayed a the Parker House in late-September 2013 while riding our bikes from Pittsburgh to Cumberland on the Great Allegheny Passage (G.A.P.). We could not have been happier with our choice to stay in Confluence and at this B and B. The Parker House is close to the bike trail and very easy to fine. There... More
