In late October my two friends and I rolled our loaded touring bicycles into Confluence PA. Our plan to camp out was thwarted by the lateness of the season. Two residents of Confluence and "Mary", the proprietor, made us welcome at the "Parker House". What a great serendipity! We were surrounded with very impressive, comfortable, modern accommodations. We had a building... More

I've stayed at the Parker house twice now and both times were absolutely delightful. The place is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. Mary, the proprietor, is a gracious host who goes the distance to make sure you have a good experience. Staying at the Parker House is one of the highlights of biking the GAP.

Two friends and I stayed a the Parker House in late-September 2013 while riding our bikes from Pittsburgh to Cumberland on the Great Allegheny Passage (G.A.P.). We could not have been happier with our choice to stay in Confluence and at this B and B. The Parker House is close to the bike trail and very easy to fine. There... More

Arrived on Friday afternoon to an extremely gracious host and a beautiful house after 62 miles from Cumberland on a bike. Mary gave us a tour an explained the history of the Parker house. Settled in right by the river and walked to the Smokehouse for slamming BBQ! River side cafe was next door which looked amazing as well. House... More

My wife and I made our first visit to the Parker House and it was a splendid experience. We were greeted by Mary who was as nice as pie. The house was quaint, comfortable and clean. Although the house was fully occupied we hardly knew anyone was in the house. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the front porch... More

This is an outstanding guest house, with all the comforts of home and more. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. This is in a sleepy little town -- very quiet. Spotlessly clean, too. You can ride your bike straight from here and be on the bike path in two minutes.

Parker House is a guest house, so don't expect a breakfast--not to worry, breakfast at Sister's down the street was just right. Do expect immaculately clean, tidy, and nicely appointed accommodations. This was our first stop as we visited Fallingwater and continued on bike along the GAP trail. We arrived late, and owner Mary was waiting for us with a... More

This was our third time at the Parker House. That should tell you all you need to know. There is plenty of room in the house to get away even when it is full. We like the fact that it has a kitchen you can use to make breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Mary is a great hostess.

The Parker House was a great place to stay! We had a group of six and were staying up there for a rafting/biking trip. It was only a quick fifteen minute drive from where we rafted and the bike trail is only one block away. Everything from the booking to the check out was easy. The owners are very accommodating...
