I like staying in the Glen Mills area, but most of the nicer hotels are in the $120/night range, which seems a bit steep sometimes. I got this room for $85 a night prepaid. It's not horrible, but boy, the extra $35 a night sure makes a difference. Apparently the hotel was renovated not too long ago, but it already... more

Reasons to stay here: Location is perfect for Brandywine Valley Attractions, Longwood, River Museum. Plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. Very clean room and plenty of parking. Downside: Room phone did not work [no big deal for us], Microwave in the room didn't work [minor] more

The hotel was clean, staff was exceptionally pleasant, amenities and proximity to so many venues was definitely a plus. I have stayed here 5 times and will keep coming back. We visited the stores in Delaware, Longwood gardents and local wineries. more

Stayed twice here during November, and have been here on a number of previous occasions over the past 2-3 years. This is a few cuts above the standard Holiday Inn Express offering, as they add a few little touches here and there (e.g. real cutlery in the breakfast room). Staff are very friendly. As other reviewers have noted, the only... more

This hotel is a gem, I was in town for a wedding and this was one of the recomended hotels. I have stayed at mny Holiday Inn Express hotels but this was very different. It did not feel like a limited service hotel at all. The rooms were clean and set up efficiently. The breakfast was hot and tasty! but... more

Replaced faucet After fixing, the shower had no water at all in the AM. Had to get key to an adjoining empty room for a shower For the area, convenient location. more

We selected this Holiday Inn due to it's proxcimity to Longwood Gardens and the DuPont Winterthur property. Upon arrival we were given an early check in with an upgrade to a Queen Suite from our original standard King room. We probably should have looked at the upgrade before agreeing as it wasn't anything special. One problem that we encountered was... more

We stayed here in mid-January, and found the hotel itself to be adequate. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast complete, and the staff helpful. We were especially impressed with the prompt action of the staff to quell a post-wedding party in the hall at 11:30 pm. My main problem with this hotel is the access when traffic is heavy. It... more

Two rooms; both were clean and comfortable. Location is easy to get to/from area attractions. Front desk friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was more than we expected - waffles, pastries, fruits, breads. Would definitely stay here again. more
