I booked two nights at the Rodeway Inn Clearfield the weekend of Penn State's Blue/White game. I normally stay at Comfort Inns or Hamptons if they are reasonably priced. With the game in town this weekend, nothing closer to State College was reasonably priced. The Rodeway Inn was $50, compared to $250 and up for chains with more amenities closer... More

We spent one night here on our way out east. It's an old style motel. The room was clean and the price was reasonable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was minimal, coffee and pastry. There is a restaurant right next door which was highly recommended, but we didn't eat there.

My husband is always looking for a good deal in a safe motel off the beaten track. The Rodeway Inn in Clearfield fits the bill. Although it looks dated and a bit sketchy (especially late at night) the rooms are large and clean. You see a mixture of patrons from traveling families to road workers and everyone has always been... More

If you are looking for a clean room and do not care about getting a continental breakfast this would be good for you. The room was clean and fairly large . The beds were very comfortable and had a table a two chairs if you wanted to eat in. However, they should not advertise continental breakfast when all they serve... More

Stayed at this Rodeway Inn in October, 2014. Courteous staff, great rates. My room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels clean. Would stay again and would recommend to my family and friends. No complaints at all. My one request would be for better lighting in the parking lot.

Traveling I-80 and need an overnight? This is your place. VERY inexpensive (I paid right at $50 total), clean, good shower with hot water and good pressure, small fridge, microwave, clean and comfortable bed. Front desk person was very kind. Really just coffee for breakfast - had some packaged sweet rolls too. I was there on a week night, traveling... More

This is nice, clean and very affordable motel. Just a couple things to note is that I asked the front desk person about the laundry room, since they advertise it on their website, and he told me that they did not have one. the closest one was " a few minutes away". Not very convenient. Also "breakfast" is coffee and... More

In looking at a motel, you have to take into account what it offers and what it promises. This little Rodeway Inn lives up to its role and its promises. This was a stress free experience. I arrived late, and got a great little room. The internet was EXCELLENT -- and I increasingly believe decent internet is a RIGHT and... More

I'll admit I stayed here because of the price and trip advisor reviews. It is what it is, a roadside hotel to sleep, shower and get back on the road. When I first pulled into the hotel at 1am I heard someone who was obviously drunk drop a bottle of beer on the balcony. I alerted the manager and he... More

We were traveling through Pennsylvania, and made a last minute online reservation at this little hotel/motel. When we arrived, there were no more non-smoking rooms available at the rate we'd signed up for. After a brief discussion, the innkeeper offered us a non-smoking room that was an upgrade from what we had reserved. The rooms were clean, neat, and they... More
