Clarion is about half way between our home in NY state and our son's new home in Ohio, and we are beyond driving over 600 miles in one day. Chose hotel based on location: a long day's drive from Chicago. Easy on/off from interstate 80. Spent one night on Easter weekend. Beautiful, modern Hampton Inn. Enthusiastic front desk at check in. Good location with Applebee's and other restaurants nearby (but not really walkable), also Wal-Mart, Staples, other retail, and hospital across the street.
