Being the only full service hotel for miles, the Holiday Inn Clarion is well worth the stop. The entire staff is very sincere and welcoming...which is very hard to find!! My sister had her wedding reception there. They were the most disorganized people ever. My sisters wedding was purple and the cake was blue and i mean blue. This was supposed to be the best day of her life and they had her so upset. They were makeing people pay for things that they shouldn't have then kept their money.... more

Heading out to the Midwest from NJ, we were looking for stop off somewhere convenient to I-80 and this fit the bill. Our kids absolutely loved having the courtyard pool outside their room, it was perhaps the highlight of their trip. We found a few glitches- the room was somewhat "shopworn", and certainly reeking of the last guest's cologne. We stayed overnight in Clarion to help our daughter switch off-campus apartments. We had no expectations, but every aspect of our stay was pleasant. Our dinner at the restaurant was good, the room was clean and the courtyard was a nice change of pace. more
