I just got home from a trip to Chadds Ford, PA to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday. I booked this hotel online without any prior knowledge about it. I was surprised at how small the hotel is. It is old and needs a facelift. The staff was nice and attentive. The continental breakfast in the morning was nothing special.

Very nice accomodations. Brandywine valley is beautiful even in the rain, tree colors were just changing due to wet summer. Musuem with the Wyeth exhibits was excellent, the orighinal illustrations were together for first time since first painted. Restuarants in area were excellent, home cooking style and 5 stars.
