I had been here back in 2006 and this was my first visit back. I was late getting out that evening and didn't have time to dress, when I saw what other couples were wearing I opted for us to sit in the bar since I felt under dressed. The bar was small, cute. No beer on tap, which for... More

A beautiful Sunday afternoon drive and we came upon the Carversville Inn. First, unlike some of the previous reviewers, we found the service to be very good. They continually checked on us to see that our needs were met and we had a nice conversation with our main server. The menu was appealing and every lunch item we ordered was... More

Just had the most delicious brunch at the Inn! Bloody Mary's are amazing! Staff is knowledgable, polite, and appreciative. The Eggs Benedict on black bread were spectacular and served hot which isn't easy with a party of 8. Can't wait to go again!

The menu choices here were very innovative and the food was excellent. The entire experience was dimmed by the poor service from the beginning with an inexperienced hostess who took several minutes to just appear leaving us standing in a hallway dodging servers with hot food. After showing us a table in a small room crowded with a noisy party... More

I looked forward to visiting this on a gorgeous Sunday for brunch with wife and friends and while we found the food excellent, the rest was completely lacking. I had asked for the quietest table when I made the reservation, and despite that we were seated in a busy room made noisier by the close proximity of a two year... More

We've been dining at the Carversville Inn for about 19 years, yes, you read it right. It is one of the few consistently good restaurants in Bucks County. It's become an 18 year tradition in our family to dine at the Inn on Mother's Day and our son, who is now 18, has taken his girlfriend there to celebrate special... More

Let me start out by saying we have eaten here for years (although not locals) and have never had a "sharing charge". I always order the salad w/apple slices, pecans and blue cheese, and it is always heavenly. The entrees have always been well-done, and the desserts are quite good. That being said, there are definitely problems sometimes with the... More

Having been there on a few ocassions now, I agree with the other reviewer that this is likely a great spot if you are a regular patron. The chatter is personal and inviting towards the frequent guest but distant and even stand-off-ish towards anyone with an unfamiliar face. I have been there several times now and each time I feel... Well here is the real story of the Carversville Inn. They have surly servers, one in particular a heavy set woman with dark hair,(don't know her name) who scowls at anyone she does not know to be a regular. They have sharing charges which is ridiculous in this day and age and do not price their soups on the menu, yet... Nestled on an ancient crossroads in a Bucks County forest lies the small village of Carversville. Once known as Aquetong by the Lenni Lenape indians, Carversville is home to a General Store, Noel Barrett's Antique Toy Store (of Antique Roadshow Fame) and of course the Carversville Inn. One can no longer stay at the Inn as a guest - those... More
