We visited on a weekend and it was the first time skiing for two of us in our group. We stuck to the beginner's slopes. It was crowded but we never had to wait too long for the lifts and the snow was good. It's definitely a great place for families and first timers and the staff is very helpful.... More

It was our first time at this ski resort. We thought we'd go up the night before, stay in the hotel, and then be right there for skiing the next day. It was only an 80 mile drive for us. They are doing some construction on a new facility, so parking for the hotel was very limited. The staff was... More

The best thing about Ski Liberty is that it is only about 75 minutes from the Washington, DC area (Maryland suburbs, at least), so getting in your skiing fix truly can be a day trip. I've been here both during peak periods (MLK weekend) and mid-week, and it generally is a very well run resort. The lift lines at the... More

Had a great time at Liberty! My son and I stayed and snowboarded for the learn to ski/snowboard package. Everyone at this resort is amazing! We felt like we were here with family and friends. Genuine smiles and helpful assistance in every turn. I am already planning to go back in February! Get a slope side room for a great... More

This was our first time to ski and stay here. Hotel staff exceptionally nice. However no one cleaned our room. The parking for hotel guest is minimal. There are about 30 spaces in front of the hotel. If you are not lucky enough to get one of those, you have to park across the street where everyone who came to... More

We apologize that you had an issue with you housekeeping during your stay. We are looking into this issue and hope you understand that your experience is not to the level that we hold ourselves to. As for parking we are in the process of building a brand new lodge that will be complete this summer and will offer much... More

For a local resort, this is a fun place to go to ski! It's not big but it has a good diversity of trail difficulties which makes it fun. They usually have pretty good snow for it's location. Staff is friendly and lines were pretty short. And plus they opened in November!

We stayed here recently for a friend's wedding. Several family members also booked rooms here for the wedding as well. For the price, of close to $200 a night in the off season (this hotel is largely used as a ski resort) we felt like it was not worth the money. The rooms were extremely average. We were in the... I attended a wedding here recently and was very pleased with the facilities. Great outdoor venue for the ceremony and the lodge where the dinner celebration was held was fabulous. Our room was in the building opposite the registration facility and overlooked the golf course. We had a king suite which was extremely spacious. While we didn't spend much time... More

Pros - great place for a family reunion (which is why we were there); nice outdoor pool, excellent outdoor bar and good entertainment in evening, rooms were clean and ours had a balcony that looks towards the mountain, breakfast was great, great bar & food service at the pool Cons - kind of pricey, walls are a bit thin, no... We visited Liberty Mountain in the off-season (August), to be near Gettysburg and get in some golf. From booking through one of the golf pros, to the golf staff, to front desk, housekeeping and food & beverage, all of the staff were amazing. We didn't encounter a sour face or personality in our 4 night stay and believe me when... More
