The hotel room was clean and good. The front desk provided our request to change the room from 2nd floor to 1st floor. They even provided the discount for having the "AAA" card. We would definetly would like to stay in this hotel again. -NC more

Stayed at a Day's Inn in Florence S.C. the previous night. It has no comparision to ths motel. Day's Inn in Carlisle is a step above the rest. I hope that the new owners continue the "5" star rating. Quite a reasonable Days Inn in Carlisle, PA. Close to I-81 but got switched from a room looking over the interstate to one on the other side without too much trouble. Our room was huge and very clean. The breakfast room was great and had an attendant who made sure everyone had what they needed. Bonanza restaurant is a block away, and many other restaurants nearby. Alexander Lounge was undergoing renovation, but that did not effect us. The exercise room was above average, but I missed just seeing a regular treadmill... more

This is a road motel. It's nice because there is plenty of elbow room, lots of places to sit and read, watch tv etc. if you need to be out of the room and unwind while the kids settle down.
