We were treated by the lovely smell of mold when we came in the hallway. Then trying to open the room door it is a hit or miss kind of deal. When in the room, don't bother with the deadbolt, it doesn't work, along with the hot tub, and TV remote. Oh and by the way on your way in... More

Booked through hotels.com and when I checked in my credit card got charged twice for no reason. I called back in two days later after I noticed the charge, they said they didnt know why it happened. The hotel is very out dated and old, rooms smell, no lights, very dark and gloomy. Dont stay here!!!!!!!

Stayed here for one night . The hotel is huge ; it interconnects all on one floor . The hotel has 265 rooms and was near full. After running through a maze to find my room, I found my room to be spacious, but needs a good overhaul in terms of interior design ; same with the whole building .... More

Had to call credit card company to cancel payment since their computers were down. Dimly lighted. Was thinking Bates Motel. Ling past it's hayday. Needs newer management with lots of money... More

We stayed in this hotel last month, it is spooky since the hotel is huge but the occupancy is really low, I counted six cars outside, very quiet lobby and hotel. The rooms are very ill maintained and filthy, need to be exterminated. The staff is very friendly it was late when I checked in and the front desk lady... More

Photos are deceptive. This place is in a TIME WARP and management does not care. This was THE MOST SCARY and REPULSIVE experience I have ever had a motel. I was charged $200.00 to cancel a room that was not fit for an animal to stay in. The door latch would not secure the door. The mattresses on the beds... More

They should actually pay you to stay here. This is the most disgusting dirty hotel I have EVER stayed in. Pretty awful the state allows a place like this to operate. The rooms can not have been cleaned in at least a month. I found multiple insects in my room and the entire building reeks of mold.

Needed to do business in Carlisle and lived in Carlisle when hotel was the Embers and wasn't too bad. Now-it is awful. Nothing works to include the security locks, ice machines, hot tub. sauna, etc. Room was ok for size. Nothing was very clean. Needs serious renovation and updating. Would never recommend this to anyone.

Went to the car show and checked into this hotel. The lobby, and subsequently, the room smelled of mold. They said there was wireless internet....NOT. Had to walk to the lobby (half mile) to hook up, but when I got back to the room, no internet. The stink was horrid. No ice. The ice machine had cobwebs and cigarette packs... More
