The motel's check-in desk is really the register for the truck stop next door. The staff was overwhelmed with running the register for customers paying for gas or soft drinks and checking guests in. In fact, the woman who assisted us had trouble doing so and we were called to return later so that they could run the credit card again. However, they were friendly and managed to do the job successfully.

The room itself was clean and had everything that it promised (ironing board, iron, coffee maker, alarm clock). The heater was noisy (and not level heat), but otherwise the room was not bad volume wise. There were a few gas stations and fast food restaurants around, but Clarion has more. The "hotel's" restaurant was really the truck stop restaurant. The staff was friendly and food was cheap and decent, however we would have preferred a different place for breakfast.
